Placed an order for delivery for my elderly father as he is sheilding during the current covid pandemic, despite being within a short five minute walk from the shop. However their delivery driver couldn't find us. In the age of the smart phone, not finding an address that has stood for over a hundred years is quite something. Maybe sunspots blew the satnav? Maybe Google was down (oh the humanity!)... I think though all the mobile networks were down as they didn't even phone. Not going to even bother with this take away ever again. Food very late 2 1/2 hours late! Was promised a full refund that evening but never got it. I phoned the shop a day or so later realising that I never received the refund and they denied offering me it and refused to give me my money back!!! I accidentally typed my address in without the flat number and so there was an issue with the trying to deliver it. They were so so good about the whole situation - considering it was my fault. Their food is always fresh and tasty, from the staff to the delivery they have great customer service and also gave me a free extra pickle :). It isn’t my first takeaway from them and definitely won’t be my last. Thank you so much for being so great...
