Went expecting to find a meat "factory" sized place with a huge choice as the photo's imply, how disappointed were we when we found a tiny wee unit almost impossible to find with about 4 square feet of space to stand in, a 4 foot counter with hardly any choice and a couple of fridges with a handful of pies in them.
Bought some steaks, which in the end turned out to be ok but certainly not of a quality implied by their website, wife was excited to get some Stornoway black pudding and the Tomahawk looked cool but when all was said and done the meat just wasn't up to the level of the price.
We went for a Tomahawk for our son and almost didn't even buy that when they tried to give us one out of a fridge but we felt embarrassed about not buying anything else so bought a few ribeye's as well because better that than line the pockets of a big supermarket.
For a Friday, especially when it was payday I would have thought they'd be jam packed with amazing stuff but the choice was very basic, nothing looked amazing.
I think they should maybe stick to supplying restaurants and cafes who can turn a profit off the meat.
P.S. I researched the "award" which turns out to be pretty meaningless when it was literally just a matter of who voted for themselves the most, not hard to win an award against virtually no competition.
If it was that prestigious an award then why did none of the big butchers like S. Collins & Son or James...

We've had the slimmer's pack at £30, 2 fillet steaks, then 2 different lots of '4 for £12'. We won't ever go back to buying our butcher meat from a supermarket. The stew was so tender and the steaks were restaurant quality. The staff are very helpful and the place is immaculately clean. Well...

525g of chicken breast 700g of pork chops (4) 670g of meatballs (24) 750g of beef mince
Just over 2.6kg of...
