I was a loyal customer since pandemic 2020 until yesterday. Monkey Grill was always standing out from other takeaways by quality of their product and presentation. Yesterday when I opened the box, I knew straight away that something is not right. They food looks different than usual. Taste also varied. Not to mention, I was sick all night after eating it. Looks like they have changed the management. The quality and food hygiene has gone with them. Even drivers has changed. I ordered via the Blackpool Eats app at 12:01 for delivery at 21:00. As my order had not arrived by around 21:10 I tried calling the store many times but each time I was disconnected. As at 21:25 my order had not arrived so I had to order elsewhere. I called Monkey Grill’s parent company (and was advised they had closed at 17:00 - great for a takeaway company) and left a message explaining my situation, and that if my food arrived then I would not accept it. The food arrived less than ten minutes later but I advised them to take the food away. My alternative food arrived shortly after and was appreciated by all. AVOID...
