WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!

We were going to have a kebab last night (our go to take away on a Saturday). Called in to Elite on the way home from work to check out the place and the menu and loved both so much we decided to push the boat out and treat ourselves to dinner. Why not.- tomorrow is not promised....that's our motto - live for the day, carpe diem and all that.

We love EVERYTHING about Elite, especially the fact that it's just an 8 minute walk from home!

As soon as you walk through the door you get the WOW factor.

No expense has been spared on the absolutely stunning decor both upstairs and down. Even the ladies toilets are on another level of gorgeous.

We chose to sit in a booth which could comfortably seat 4 rather than at a table. We were given the choice. Although the tables look equisite the booth looked so inviting. We had the booth for the night. We weren't rushed at all and had our table for as long as we wanted.

The menu has a streetfood / tapas / nibbles theme and is right up our street! #lowcarb #bloodsugarcontrol. It even includes a cheese option which I'm always delighted about #lowcarbdessert

Extensive wine and cocktail menu. And the wine is served in my favourite style of glass! Not bad prices either. We enjoyed a quality bottle of red reserve wine and my hubby had a blue lagoon cocktail which also went down very well.

Everything we had was super super super tasty 😋 😍😊... including the olives which I find can be a bit hit and miss. My husband wanted to try the smoked pecan nuts. They come in a glass jar and when you open that a small plume of smoke comes out that smells amazing. The nuts were really delicious.

I had chicken wings and a side of wok cooked greens with chili garlic and pine nuts. Eric had belly pork (the best he has ever had he said) and salmon croquettes.

Loved the music that was being played too.

They are open every day from 5pm apart from Mondays. They have live entertainment Sunday. A lady vocalist this week I believe.

Konrad, the manager, was wonderful in every way and how you would like all managers to be. All the staff were great in fact.

Our first visit to Elite and was not disappointed in anything.

As you enter you straight away notice that a great job has been done on the bar.The bar it’s self is magnificent, also love the fact you can sit at the bar and drink and chat.

Staff were fantastic couldn’t do enough for you, a bit of banter as well, loved it. As soon as people leave tables are wiped down ready straight away for next visitors.

Food was first class we had nearly every dish on the menu and could not fault any! My personal favourite was the ribs.

Also which I think is a fresh of breath air they don’t put a surcharge on the bill, it’s upto you to tip! Which we did because if excellent service, other restaurants take note!!!

The bench mark has been set high so I do hope the standard is kept up for our next visit to...

Absolutely love Elite. We've been a couple of times now cocktails are exquisite, food is delicious (although I wouldn't mind a bigger portion 😅) great for an intimate date night but I wouldn't take your mates of you tend to get a bit rowdy as other customers don't appreciate it 😬 staff are friendly and couldn't be more accommodating (shout out to Konrad 🥳) the overall tone of the place feels very upper echelon and its nice to have a classy place on Whitegate.. my only critique is the vibe can be abit low key, which is great when that's what your looking for, however if your looking for party feels its probably not the go to... but love it love it love it will definitely be showing my...
