Sotto Pizzeria — Restaurant in England

We've just finished a meal here, and what can I say.....never have I left a restaurant so disgusted. We called on Friday, around 5pm and were invited to be seated around 7.15 pm, absolutely perfect. Once we were seated it took a couple of suggestions to the waiters and waitresses that we were ready to order our drinks... after 15 mind dri ks arrived, that's fine, as the dri ks arrived we said we would like to order our food. 20 mins later we requested again we were ready to order. 30 mins later our order was taken, along with an argument right behind us between what seemed to be the head waiter and the second waiter, this was pretty full on and loud. That's OK,we understand things can occur. The rest of the meal went bump and grind, nothing running smooth, different waiters and waitresses throughout and a blatant lack of communication or organisation in the back. Finally we fi isherwood an OK meal to receive a bill. I thought it was bit high but my other half is in the habit of checking, who made it clear we had been double charged, not once, not twice but three times. We pulled the p Waiting staff about this, who were very apologetic, and eneded up giving us an extra free shot of lemonccelo. At this point I discussed our experience of the night with the waitress, and explained why only 10% tip was being given when across the room a table of women found offence with our general discontent of the night. We were then brayed out of the restaurant by the waitress and the table of women ( it felt like they were friend of the head waitress). Never have I felt so disgusted after eating at a restaurant, and believe me, I've had some shockers. I'm not saying this place will be as bad as this every time, and I've eaten here before, and it's been great, but this occasion, was bad enough for me to never...

Don't waste ur money

This place last year was amazing, the food was really fresh and seasoned to perfection, that was at my friends birthday towards the end of August.

I decided to make an order here as my first choice wasn't open. The food, ok, i say ok because it was edible but not worth over £32...pizza was nothing like the first time, cheap mozzarella, no taste. The ravioli i ordered had been reheated, so biting into the spinach & ricotta (far from tender, like the last time) was like eating a processed meal. Not even touched the 3rd dish i bought.

When taking my payment and then handing over my order, the young man had the nerve to tell me to 'wear a mask next time' unless i'm exempt. I mean u didn't even ask if i was but hey' NEXT TIME ... before someone pays, tell them your policies you've adopted (Not ur own) and then customers have the opportunity to decline spending money on a socialist business.

whatever your views on this, i will not be supporting any business who enforces tyranny on the people.

This place holds no value on their customers, evidently with the food & customer service. Maybe take a look at how Italians are approaching this in Italy and you may learn a thing or two on how to treat customers.

Guys, there are plenty of businesses out there in the fylde that just love the support and wont ask you to cover up or judge your stance on whats happening globally, u have a choice where ur money goes & who you support....

Went here on the government eat out scheme.

Staff are friendly and rude at the same time. I'm sure it's just restaurant policy to balance kitchen but I went in, got sat down quite friendly then got offer drinks within minutes. It was less than half capacity but they made us wait like 30-45 minutes before taking our food order despite walking past us about 20 times and telling them we were ready to order food a couple of times within first 5-10 minutes. Their response was someone will come take your food order shortly.

It felt like they were more like a bar than a restaurant more concerned about getting you to drink more. One of our drink orders I asked for 3 large drinks without ice and one large with ice. I got 1 large with ice 2 small with ice and the one which wanted ice just got a small glass ok f ice without.

There was a birthday party in which they turned up some music far too loud where my daughter actually had to hold hands against her ears and nearly in tears.

On a positive note, the food is reasonably priced, very tasty and when they finally took our order arrived very promptly. The atmosphere in the place is nice if abit odd with bottle placement which staff frequently Lent over customers to grab.

Staff are pleasant to talk to food is nice, reasonably priced and nice environment. I would go again but it does have issues in priority and customer service which I'm sure...
