Definitely the only garage I highly, highly recommend! And if I could give more than 5* to them, I would! I've spent 2 years with the same re-occuring issue on my car, and struggled to get it fixed by my old mechanic. I've spent a lot of money getting different parts put in, but still the same issue kept happening. I eventually went to Lookers - a Volkswagen dealership for a full diagnostic and what a waste of time and money that was! Never again! They did half a diagnostic and charged me £60, and it didn't even pick up the actual issue on my car! I fixed everything that was stated on their diagnostic sheet, and the problem still didn't go away. When I requested them to look at it again, they said they would have to charge me a further £60! What a rip off merchant! Eventually, it came to a point where I started to give up, and was contemplating on just scraping my car.
THEN a friend recommended me to take my car to TMC and speak to the owner Mo. He is such a lovely/honest gentleman! Mo made sure I was looked after and was honest throughout, and kept me updated on what they thought the problem was. Initially the first job they did, we all thought the problem was resolved, but it wasn't. Within the hour, Mo came out to me and drove my car round and took it back into the garage. He refused to give me my car back, and was adamant that he will not give it back, until he's resolved the issue. He also asked for a second opinion, alongside his team and they all came to an agreement and changed what they felt could be the cause. And did that fix my car? Hell yeah! For the first time in over 2 years, my car has been driving properly and that too without any problems. Can't thank him and his team enough!
So if you want an honest mechanic, who doesn't rip you off and lie to you. Go to TMC and speak to the owner Mo. I promise you, you'll never go elsewhere again!
Thank you so much Mo, definitely appreciate you and your team for helping me. You guys are the best, keep up the amazing work/service you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWould not use this place. Lovely lady on the front she was very helpful. However the guys out back and the one who seemed to be a manger were definitely not. I took my car in as the wipers werenāt working. Paid Ā£42 for them to take a look at it to diagnose if it was electrical or the wiper motor that had gone. They told me it was the motor that had gone and not electrical and that a new part would need to be ordered. After ordering the part of eBay I thought Iād have a look myself after watching a few YouTube videos. Once I had removed the plastic part covering the wiper assembly I saw that the plug has come out of the motor. Plugged it back in and to my surprise the wipers worked. Now Iām thinking wait they looked at it and told me it was definitely the motor. Thank god a brand new Ā£400 one was out of stock because they either donāt know what theyāre doing and couldnāt see it was unplugged or were trying to get a commonly used Ā£400 part out of me and were just going to charge me for the pleasure of plugging it back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMisleading 5 start reviews I would say about this place. Just got my 63k miles car for MOT in there, and I left very disappointed. I would highly recommend to everyone with car above 2000 year to avoid this place in order to keep the good MOT history of your car as you will be left shocked as I am. Apparently, FACTORY FITTED ENGINE COVER AND UNDER TRAY is classed as advisory for the tall guy doing mot's in there, when I asked how's that possible and why for my car's 12 years history that have never been put as an advisory I just got a reply: "That's how I've been told" and some stupid story of a case from his past. For the ones of you reading this and unfamiliar with car parts and stuff, pretty much every car above (with some car before) 2000 year have been fitted with engine cover and undertrays from the factory. Just to clear any doubs, whether my review is true or false, I am attaching a picture from MOT search in gov uk as also they are not providing MOT certificates like other places as: "Everything is...
