I was a-bit shocked to see this was a dog friendly pub. I have never felt more unwelcome in a pub with my dog. In fairness he is well behaved and l always make him sit on his blanket out of respect. When l went to sit down a lady customer told me oh you can’t sit there you need to sit over there where the tiles are and not on the carpet. Most of the pub is carpet. Beautiful pub but l truly couldn’t wait to drink my drink and get out. The most un dog friendly in the whole of shawlands. Better just saying no dogs welcome because thats what it felt like. The customer was very out of order. Rotten experience on...
