Hidden gem. One of my top 2, fish and chips shops I regularly eat at, especially when I'm in Leeds.
The fish and chips are lovely. The portions to quality / quantity is value for money. I bought the large and the portion was satisfying for £7.30
They make the fish and chips fresh, when you arrive, so it's always hot, the way I like it. Pre order on the phone, if you in a rush.
The sauces are free and delicious especially the mint chitni. Rare these days to get free condiments.
The curry sauce is a must try, the flavours enhance the flavours to the main dish. Only one size for curry and mushy peas.
They also make southern fried chicken, goto to say one of the best one had from a chip shop. The crispy outer and the tender chicken again is a recommended option.
They take card and card but have no indoor seating.
The customer service is excellent, very nice...
Read moreNice local chippy on Beeston Hill. Big portions at good prices even after the recent rise. Gets very busy at lunch - I believe it's owned by the same people that run Ali's next door, so they close at 5pm and Ali's takes over from there. It's a pity they don't stay open until 6 or 7 for tea but it's probably a licensing issue. Also bear in mind it's Muslim-owned so no battered sausages etc. However they do offer chicken which most chip shops generally don't. The staff are always friendly and the food is nice...

The curry sauce was tasteless and watered down too much, and had what I presume to be raisins or currants in it which was really off putting as I though...
