Excellent service! I was worried after reading the reviews and was expecting long queues and rude staff but it turned out to be a good experience. Staffs are nice and patient, there was no queues, on arrival you get a number allocated and wait for your number appear on the screen just like banks and Macdonaulds, there was only about 3 numbers before me so I didn’t need to wait much at all. I walked in 11:40 and left at 12:00, so the whole process including documents checking and finger prints was done in 20 minuets. A few tips to make sure you are well prepared for the documents: You need to fill in the application forms online and print it out before going to the embassy. The form was fairly easy to fill in, and at the end of it you get to choose an appointment time online. Make sure you arrive on time to avoid disappointment. Bring 3 photos, they only asked two from me but some of the reviews say they were asked three so better be prepared. Snappy snaps are good for passport and visa photos for any country, and there’s one 9 minuets walk away from the embassy in case your photos weren’t accepted. Bring a copy of your old/current passport photo page and a copy of your UK resident card. These were not specified in the online application process but were actually needed when you get there. I saw other reviews saying they provide postal service but it wasn’t offered to me. They said payment will be taken on the day of collection so it was obvious I need to collect my passport in person and pay. Judging from the collection date I received it takes more than 20 days to make a new passport so if your passport is about to expire make sure you leave enough time. Thank you for offering the postage service as an alternative to having to collect the passport in person. It really made my life a lot easier. Overall I am very happy with the service they provide. Making an online appointment and filling out the application is very convenient and mobile friendly. Friendly staff on site, the whole process is somewhat efficient. The only suggestion I want to make is to update the online info on what are the required documents. There appear to be some inconsistency between what was asked online and what was actually needed. For example online it says to bring a digital copy of the photo as well, turns out it’s not really needed. On the website it says 2 photos are needed but actually they need 3. I am lucky I brought a spare one. And I failed to find any message online saying I should bring a copy of my old passport and visa, but turned out they are required. Never met a more incompetent and obnoxious worker at my life, very rude in tone and unhelpful. The only middle aged lady who kept screaming down the mic without explaining anything. Despite providing all documents required she refuse to processs the application as it’s close to her lunch time (note they only open between mon-fri 9am to noon so works a 3hr window daily).
