March 2024: Last month, we had the absolute pleasure of performing once again on the King Alfred Phoenix Theatre stage, with our gory and visceral production of Macbeth. The magnitude of stage-managing three separate casts performing over a single weekend would to any sane person be regarded as a Sisyphean feat, yet under Matt's meticulous assistance, the entire affair unfolded seamlessly, leaving an unforgettable impression on our audience's memory. Matt, your expertise and unwavering enthusiasm breathed life into every scene, both visually and aurally, ensuring that our performances resonated deeply with all who attended. Thank you so much. Additionally, a heartfelt thank you to Rob for facilitating the booking process with such ease. The King Alfred Phoenix Theatre serves as a cornerstone of our local community, enriching lives with each production. We're deeply appreciative and eagerly anticipate our return next year with our rendition of Pride and Prejudice.
March 2023: We have just finished another wonderful show weekend at the King Alfred Phoenix Theatre with our production of Twelfth Night. It’s always a massive pleasure working with Matt and Rob, the friendly and welcoming duo running the theatre. As with every show Matt works tirelessly to ensure all aspects of the director’s vision comes to life on stage. We are always in very capable hands with Matt, from putting up the set, to plotting the lights, and the precise cueing during the performances, Matt makes our Knaves shows look and sound like a ‘west-end’ quality production. The theatre is the perfect space for visiting drama groups, music groups, and solo artists: a well-proportioned stage, excellent light and sound equipment, with every seat in the house feeling close to the action. They also have a very smart foyer with a well-equipped bar. We are already planning and looking forward to our next visit. Thanks...
