Welcome - had to wait even though booked and they said they were really busy around 8pm. Only 6 people at 8pm on a Wednesday night. I booked on the phone ahead and spoke to Chow who was nice and friendly. Seating- was ok Menu - interesting , some spelling mistakes. Would have liked some healthier choices. Food - wontons were tasty but cold. Starters were luke warm. Found HAIR in my food. Very long hair about 10 inches long. Very off putting. Very disappointed and the manager says "it happens all the time" and then offers to make me another dish...I think not...so annoying and disgusting. The place should be checked by health and safety. There was a smell of dampness in the restaurant as well.
I will not be going there again.... If you want the potential of hair in your warm food please go and enjoy.
Part of 9 restaurants so you would think that hygiene would be top priority but it was not.
Would give no or even minus stars if possible.
Good Earth in Mill Hill much better even though much more expensive...
Read moreMyself and my friend Yoanna walked in spontaneously, without a booking on Friday, the 18th of August. The restaurant although small, had this very tranquil and cosy feel to it. A very well presented and extremely kind gentleman welcomed us in, regardless of the fact that the restaurant was fully booked. It was our first visit and we really didn't know much about their menu or what to choose for dinner. To top this up, I am an allergy sufferer and was very worried that there'd be nothing for me to eat . The same gentleman who welcomed us in, took us through the menu and made some amazing recommendations. He really made us feel at home and for that we are grateful. I very highly recommend this place. It is the only Vegan restaurant in Golders Green and such a great addition to the area. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Today, the 27th of August I am meeting a friend for lunch (pre- birthday) at their Islington branch and honestly...
Read moreThe food here is incredible - really flavoursome and delicious. We tried lots of different dishes but for us the stand-out was the sweet potato noodles and the cauliflower. However our experience here wasn’t so great. We were fitted in last minute due to a cancellation which was nice but then the table actually turned up and the manager asked us to leave! We hadn’t yet had our mains though so instead he moved us to a different table… who also then turned up! We would have been gone sooner but it took 40 minutes to take our order in the first place. Even when we had asked for the bill it took ages. It’s like the waiters are so busy here they deliberately don’t catch your eye. I would also warn people that there are no baby changing facilities nor is this a disability-friendly venue. I wish we had been told this when I called and reserved a table with space for a pram! All in all… not sure this is the best location...
