I visited this branch on December 18th after realising that I had run out of my medication. I asked the pharmacist if I had a refill waiting in case I hadn't received a text about it, but there wasn't. She asked who ordered my meds and I said that Boots did, immediately she became defensive and aggressive, loudly telling me that I needed to 'take responsibility' for myself and tell them to reorder my meds everytime I collect my prescription because locums and trainees wouldn't always ask. In fact she was the one who had filled my prescription previously as I recalled she administered my flu jab on the same visit. Regardless, I wasn't accusing them of anything, I was simply anxious and stressed about being out of my medication, but she behaved as though I was.
I asked what I could do now, and after some more berating from her, she said she could give me an emergency refill. They only had one of the two dosages I take, so she rudely said I could pay now and come back for the rest when it was ordered in. I told her that going forward, I would be moving my prescription to another pharmacy and walked away to pay the cashier. She shouted across the store that she didn't need to give me an emergency refill at all, and a moment later decided that she would no longer fill the rest of the prescription and told me to go back to my doctor for it, which I will no doubt have to pay for again. This means that in reality, I have paid the full £9.35 prescription charge for a quarter of my prescription.
The entire experience was upsetting, humiliating, and belittling and I am shocked at the way she spoke to me in full view of other customers and staff members. She was aggressive from the get go and I can only assume was waiting for some poor person to take her anger out on. I am currently in contact with Boots customer services and hope to get an answer...

Staff were rude and lying that this is sent from Germany we haven't got anything yet , poor husband was late for work and waited half an hour . They kept lying saying we haven't got just call the number and not us. I called the number and they told me it was delivered and received by a lady named... So just imagine how unprofessional and bothering these people are ! It's very sad because they are the reflection of the boot store, And from now on I see boots as very very poor customer service shop . Would find alternative way to buy same product maybe from Superdrug store :) Feel also sad for those poor people who don't...

We asked for the shelves to be unlocked so we can look at make up, he rudely said he can only open one because he doesn’t have time to help us (even though he is sitting down scrolling on his phone every time) and we need to decide now which one we want. That is not how customer service should look like and with this attitude he won’t go very far in life. If you can’t be bothered to open the shelves when customers are ready to spend money I recommend you don’t lock them in the first place. Couldn’t care less attitude from the other employees that we reported this too.
