Update to my previous review: Honestly I keep coming back to this salon only because of Galina, as she is a great nail stylist and also has very nice personality. Otherwise the customer service is just non existent in this salon. This time I booked my usual appoinment with Galina but when I came to the salon there was another nail stylist waiting for me. When I asked reception staff their answer was just simply oh sorry Galina couldn't make it today. So they didn't message me in advance to let me know and didn't even mention it in the salon when I just came in and said I have an appointment with Galina, thinking what am I a fool and won't know it is another nail lady?? The salon also has this tendency to change the appointments you book online or ask you to come in another time. So you conveniently book your appointment online and then early in the morning they start messaging and calling you asking if you can come in another time earlier? Why would I book a specific time and then want to come in another time? There was a case where they even moved my appointment 15 min later without asking me. The point of having online booking service is that a customer can book an appointment easily at any time without having to interact with a person. The early morning calls and messages are rather annoying. If you want to shut earlier on the weekend then don't make those appointments available online rather than keep asking the customer to come earlier instead. Overall, every time it just feels that this salon is very much money centered rather than providing great service to customers.

Read moreThis was the case of coming into the salon looking better than when I left. My stylist was Cristina. First of all I was booked in for a hair dye and an express hair cut. On the website it says that the hair dye takes around 1,5-2 hours and the express hair cut around 30 mins. I was out of there in less than 1 hour and 20 mins…. The dye was totally off, the colour was too light, and wasn’t a match to what I wanted (I think the colour was selected wrongly and on top of that didn’t fully develop, as it was on my hair for way less time than it normally is) and when I mentioned it, the stylist has assured me that it’s fine. I have washed my hair twice now and the dye is pretty much gone, as if I haven’t gotten a refresh at all… the only thing that it did, is got my hair more of a reddish tint, which I didn’t want and I specifically said I want a cold feel to it, not warm (so where the red got in the mix I’m not sure). Everything seemed sloppy and super rushed. A haircut was an absolute joke. She first badly dried my hair, giving it zero shape or at least volume. And then when I asked her to take of more than 1 cm, she still did what she felt was right. The haircut took maybe 5-7 mins, and I’m being generous. It really wasn’t a haircut but a trim. Read moreI have visited Stylena salon last week for a toner and ollaplex. There was no proper greeting by any of the staff members once I came, once someone acknowledged me I was asked to sit down and wait. I came to this salon as I was advised that Yana was a great hairstylist ,oh how wrong was I to listen to this advice…I was asked what colour would I prefer and was shown the colour palette. I said that I want to get rid of the yellow undertones and asked what would you advise as you are the professional. Once I was at the sink I noticed that Yana was with another customer and during the whole time I was there she was between 2 customers which is very unprofessional and I have never had this type of treatment before. The hair colour came out less than standard, I could have seriously done this at home myself, the toner didn’t match my natural colour at all so it looked very funny once I came home and on pictures as well. Once I was leaving and said “thank you goodbye” no one even acknowledged that. Overall very poor experience, felt that the staff was arrogant and the salon is overpriced and overrated. Waste of my time and money as will have my hair redone again due to the incompetence of Yana to do a simple toner. Didn't meet my expectations at all.
