I would like to start with a positive, the room we were allocated was large and the bed was comfortable. |Unfortunately that's the only positives, it was all downhill from there.||The curtains were dirty, the duvet cover had stains on, although these didn't appear to be new, but I would have thought that they would have been replaced as it just looks dirty and unprofessional, we had 3 pillows for 2 of us, the carpet was not fitted well and also had stains on, most of the surfaces were free from dust but there were several marks, all of the mirrors in the room, and there were many, were very dirty, there was someone else's jacket in the wardrobe, there was water left in the kettle when we arrived and we discovered on our first morning that we had no milk to make a coffee or tea and staff didn't arrived until after 11 am so we couldn't ask for any.|When we returned to our room that day the pub was closed and we still had no milk, this was really disappointing.|The bathroom had disgusting dirty grey coloured coverings at the window, cracked tiles on the floor and a shower cubicle with no handle to open and close the door.|The towels were really clean and a good size though. |We stayed for 2 nights and if we had the funds or a chance to change hotels in the busy school holidays, we would have but we had this booked for months for a sporting event at Wembley, this accommodation is listed as a shabby chic hotel but, considering we had a superior room, it was extremely...

The staff were so friendly and made us feel completely at home. It is full of the warmth and character that you might usually expect from a small, country pub and yet you are in the heart of West London! It is very spacious with wooden floors and beautiful furniture to match and always has a lively buzz. The selection of drinks is varied and caters for all tastes - from classic ales to sophisticated cocktails. Despite all this, it is the food that sets the Crown apart. The menu is priced very reasonably with most dishes around £10 and on Sundays they do a fantastic all day roast. One of my favourites is the Rotisserie Chicken which is served with roasted vegetables and potatoes. The chicken was succulent, the vegetables were delicious and the presentation was excellent. If you're just after a snack then this place does the best French Fries in the capital! Overall this is the one of the greatest pubs I've been to in London in a long time and I would highly recommend making a visit.

Read moreWe booked and payed for 5 nights, but we stayed there just only 1 night and decided to go to a different hotel . |I was surprised TV was unplugged and bathroom fan was switched off, it implies they did not have any guests recently. It is called hotel , but actually a pub with accommodations, so the room is not good for tourists, below basic.|In addition, the room was too humid and hot ( no air conditioning ), we opened the windows but no air came in ( outside temperature was cool 16 degree but the room was too hot ) I could not wear pajamas to fall asleep, too hot.|Also no iron facility and no hairdryer ( booking.com said they have both ! ). Web site said power point at the bed side , it is not true. This one is not for tourists to stay more...
