I have been eating biryani from this shop for the last two years. They used to cook really nice biryani. But somehow, they stopped cooking it fresh every day. Now, they only make fresh biryani every one or two days.

I went there today, and I already knew it wasn’t fresh, but I had planned to buy it anyway. I just asked him, “On which day do you cook fresh biryani?” That’s all. But instead of answering, he started arguing with me, insisting again and again, “It’s fresh, it’s fresh, we make it daily.”

Why lie? I can clearly see the rice is dry—anyone can tell it’s a day old. Selling old food and claiming it’s fresh is haram. It’s such a shame. I only suggested that he should be honest with his customers. If he just tells people what day the biryani is freshly made, then regular customers will come on that day, and he won’t have any...

Absolutely disgusting experience. I ordered baby tandoori chicken and biryani — the food was clearly stale and smelt awful, like it had been cooked days ago and reheated. The chicken leg in the biryani had a strong rotten smell, completely inedible. The so-called tandoori chicken tasted old, rubbery, and nothing like fresh chicken.

This isn’t just about poor taste — it’s a serious hygiene issue. The food quality explains why the place looks unhygienic. Selling stale chicken like this is dangerous, especially if people are feeding their families.

I had to throw the entire order straight into the bin. Total waste of money and a serious health risk. AVOID this place if you value your health...

Went to this place to remind old Mobeen restaurant which was located in green street. Thought the food and atmosphere would be the same but upon first impression restaurant is very small maybe 3/4 dinning table are around. Ordered double kebab roll and meat samosa total cost was £4. I remember in old Mobeen the kebab were made freshly but not today boy behind the counter just microwave the entire food which was luke warm and also not had same taste as it use To be. Samosa was good size with full meat filling but it be great if it was a bit warm. Overall food is good value for money but I think they if owner and managers go back basic old way would be much pleasant for old green...

This place WAS a great discovery but now they resort to all sorts of tricks to cut cost, including HALVING the quantity of Biriyani, significantly worse taste of the biriyani and shik kebab (trust me we tracked the quantity and taste over time, those who have been eating here try it now and then put a review). Even the raita (yogurt sauce) is tasteless now!! Finally the main guy is incredibly rude, for some time he used to get angry if you wanted to pay with card and now his only job is to cut costs by sacrificing quality of service. Do yourself a favour just cross the road and get yourself something nicer from somebody who’s not always grumpy

Omg, this is a hidden gem of a restaurant, looks a little like a greasy spoon Pakistani style, but try the freshly cooked lamb seekh kebabs and naan bread, both cooked in a tandoor, totally lovely and tasty! I thoroughly recommend this place for a typical rustic meal, they also do spinach lamb and daal..... Yum! Will be back soon. :-) Btw, I'm back in London and yes, I had lamb kebabs and naan, all freshly made. Amazing place as always, love the food! Hiya, visited on the 5th Jube 2023, had kebab rolls, and samosas! Loved it as usual!
