We have been coming here for a long time. It had been a while since our last visit but we were welcomed like no time had passed. We were seated at a lovely table by the window. We have always loved the intimate atmosphere of this restaurant. The service was excellent as was the food. My husband had a sheek kebab starter and chicken tikka biryani. I had onion bhajis to start and a lamb passanda and Bombay aloo for main. The lamb was lovely and tender and the Bombay aloo was one of the best I have ever had. We shared some coconut ice cream for desert as that’s all either of us could fit in. My husband loves their calypso coffee and had one of these to finish. Would highly recommend and will be back again of course, Thankyou.

Amazing restaurant, great tasting Indian food at a very affordable price, atmosphere and service was 10/10. They went out of their way to provide on the house starters and we're very kind and helpful throughout our dining experience. Would definitely recommend!

Delivery was on time and the portion sizes were very generous. We ordered the chicken and lamb biryani with bombay potatoes. It tasted good but a little plain for those who like their Indian meals spicy.

I was treated with outstanding kindness by this restaurant when I fell ill during a meal there recently. I suddenly developed Labyrinthitis (infection of the inner ear, which affects balance) whilst waiting for my food and had to be taken to hospital. Whilst we waited an hour for the ambulance, during which time I was in enormous discomfort and quite worried, the staff did absolutely everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible, including making me a bed from the seats and fanning me constantly (I was sweating heavily). They never once expressed any concern for the trouble I was causing them, the mess I was creating or that having a man clearly ill in their restaurant wouldn't have been good for business.

Sadly I never got to eat anything more than one popadom and a mouthful of beer, but what I had was excellent and the rest smelled good! I will be back one day to have a meal, even though it's a 200 mile...

We went to dine in this restaurant yesterday at about 18.00. We ordered starters first it was not at all tasty. Then waiter suggested paneer chilli will be good, we tried it just had onions and 3 pieces paneer. We were just having our starters the waiter came to our table and said you'll want to order main course? I told him will order after sometime. He went back and came again and started arguing and said you should give order. you'll can sit one hour only. He and one more waitress was there both started using harsh words they were very rude. They spoilt my dinner date 😡. My first time in this restaurant was very bad. The worst staff, worst experience in my life. Waiter was old in age..... doesn't have professional skills as a waiter ethically and even morally. He is not fit to work in an hospitality industry with such a bad attitude and behaviour towards guests, he should be fired from his job...

I ordered my food after a long days work and was really looking forward to it. I have had their food before hence, loved it but I found that their cooking and recipe has changed (perhaps the chef has changed or management). I was extremely disappointed and regretted ordering it and I will never order from there ever again, so much for spending £35!!! The food was very oily and it wasn’t flavoursome at all, I had to add my own salt and spices to bring it alive. The portion side was herendious as I only got four pieces of meat and the rest was vegetables and large pieces of onions-it was not worth £7! Their keema rice has changed as they are now using different rice, hardly any keema in it and was tasteless. I can continue complaining but I honestly feel the service, quality, quantity and standard has drop and they really need to rethink it if they are to get their continued/...
