Over the last couple of years i have visited several times when i visit London from up north. I have come to realise that they regularly change mgt which shows in the consistency of the standards. Tonight i ordered a jumbo mix for £59 and some extras such as chips etc, the dolma was extremely poor and clear it was from a tin covered in sunflower oil. The Adana was chewy and dry. Some of the chicken was undercooked, the chops and doner meat was good and full of flavour. The bread was alsi ful of grease. I was really hoping that we would have a great meal as my last visi was not too shabby, but unfortunately slightly disappointed as i LOVE Turkish food and crave for it when im away. Is a shame as it is only few minutes away from where i stay. May pop in for a quick durum as it is nice but not a full meal. Will try Gunes restaurant before i head back up north. I asked the ladies to heat up the rice She touched the rice with the back on her hand and put it in the microwave. After heating up, one main was fine. The other plate was now luke warm. I told the ladies the rice is still not hot. Again she touched the rice with the back of hand, she had no gloves on. I asked her for fresh rice. She abruptly told me the rice was fresh. She dished out new rice from the metal containers where the rice was kept,then placed it in the microwave. The food was then handed to me with no sorry. Read moreI just ordered from Ubereats to try out the food here for family dinner. I have to say I am very dissatisfied because the lahmacun was terrible. The reason for that is that it is, I believe, because it is not homemade reheated and on top that mine was not cooked. I think the pictures speak for it self you can see barely any minced meat there. Garlic sauce tasted nothin', but Oreganoo propabily not mixed well. The chef special came with under cooked adana inside. I am a chef myself being doing this for 12 years now when cooking you have to arrange your temperature for cooking the meat if is high temperature the meat will cook on the outside but the inside will remain raw.
