When I first moved to the area some 22 yeas ago I found a wealth of local poor opinion toward the Conservators (as they were then called). I felt this was ill founded and under Ian Rowatt we had a Director who was approachable, willing to listen, and respond to reasonable requests.
Today we seem to have an organisation dominated by a few individuals determined to pursue their largely unnecessary new Bill at all costs, and equally determined to provide as little information as possible about costs and what is actually happening.
The information given out can be misleading and their public relations are absolutely dreadful. Request for reasonable and easily available documents are refused.
