Speaking to Morrisons Castle Bromwich.
Warning - Don't arrive too early to shop here before opening. If you are there over 10 minutes before they open or 10 minutes after they close, they will fine you, even if you are shopping there. My son and three of his friends were all fined for meeting there for breakfast and shopping.
On the whole, not one of the best Morrisons, the car park layout is constantly an accident waiting to happen. The store itself always looks dirty and the lighting is so muted, almost dark in some places. I don't find the staff there particularly helpful (if you can find them), but with that said, the checkout staff have always been helpful and chatty.
One thing it used to have going for it was it had the cheapest fuel in the area, but they changed that a while back and now average the higher priced stations, which is even more annoying when you see their other station in Sheldon is always cheaper?!?
It's not my supermarket of choice and I will go out of my way to go to other supermarkets instead of this one unless I have a specific reason...
Read moreI visited this store Sunday 20th..on purchased a few items before closing.. One of which was reduced because of sell by date.. Which I took to customer service, the member of staff on the till was serving a gentleman who had a simular issue with a alcohol gift set.. The rude assistant, told me she wasn't going to serve me, because she was going home, and that I should return tomorrow, I commented on customer service and asked to speak to the manager.. She then tried to engage in a confrontational argument, about she was entitled to go home.. I told her to forget I would write to head office, on leaving on I asked the security on the door who was the duty manager.. He said he didn't know.. Goodness me.. Security not knowing who the manager is.. That's worrying, what if there was a fire. I will never use this morrisons store again.. They need customer service training from Tamworth or Burton on Trent.. But for me personally after this experience, I'm not using Morrisons for my main shop again.. And neither will my daughter in law who shops for her...
Read moreMorrisons are actually breaking the law of the 2010 disability discrimination Act ! As I have disabilities like others do and that’s mainly why we have to order on line . I would not order if Morrisons told the Ruth of how long it was going to take to deliver. Then after the first time is issued, it gets extended and the same lie as Asda and Sainsbury’s state. Due to thousands of orders like yours the time gets extended and it bulk! The drivers tell me it’s because they don’t hire enough order pickers. Just two people or so picking is absolutely ridiculous. We need to take action for the disabled being stiffed but they still take our money and the leave us suffering .I ordered a priority grocery order as I have disabilities and feel unwell but instead of it being the 30 minute said delivery I’m waiting over an hour later still. Excuses of many orders but then why take the order if you can’t deliver ? Literally ! They don’t have enough order pickers like Asda and like Sainsbury’s and that why Lidl and aldi...
