The Television And Movie Store — Local services in Norwich

This place had some of the rudest staff I'd ever encountered. I drove an hour and half to get here. Arrived with my two children. Waited at the counter to be acknowledged by a member of staff messaging on their phone. I asked if there were any comics, in particular I was after some Fantastic Four comics for my children as they love the new movie. The useless girl turned to her male counterpart and the guy with some serious attitude says, "were not a comic book store" in a way that tells me he gets asked this question a thousand times a day and I was the straw that broke the camels back. He then tried to backtrack and show me some other items as I let my disappointment known and was leaving. I don't recommend this place. I don't think the customer service is there. And maybe... Just maybe... Get some comics in - you stock everything else a comic book store would, other than comics. The guy recommended another comic book store in town that was closed stating they don't compete with them because of fairness or because the other place is too good... Here's the thing... They're not open all week. There IS money to be made by stocking them. Lack of commercial awareness. Anyway... I won't be going back. Parking wasn't easy. There is an underground parking lot down the street, but it's expensive. There's an above ground lot across the road that you'll need a bank loan...

Terrible experience in this store today, my daughter had asked me to pop in and pick up some attack on Titan cards, Now being a chap of a certain age, I have no idea what these are therefore, I approached the counter at where two staff were pricing up merchandise and asked, I was that meant with a random finger pointing motion and told over there, I proceeded to ask over where I do not know what I’m looking for and was met with the same response.

How any business stays in business where the staff are providing this level of customer service is beyond me. Businesses always want us to support local and not online through Amazon et cetera however, today’s experience has made me do just that.

Overall a nice geeky store. I give it two stars mainly because of two reasons, the price and certain staff members.

Way over priced, they sold a product I wanted for £40. When I went to other stores online and in store I found it for £20.

A certain member off staff was rude to another member of staff threatening his job. Me and others around were horrified even though this staff member was beyond passionate in his job and everytime we walked in he was helpful and kind. When me and my other half asked them to hold a item for us we later went back and said not to as we found it elsewhere cheaper.
