Went here to visit santa and started off bad as nowhere near enough parking but the organisation of meeting santa was not good. The barriers outside were set up and we were only 7th in the queue so thought brilliant not long to queue so were happy. We were then took inside by santas helper and paid the OVERPRICED rate of £9.99 per child 😡 and then thought we were going to meet santa but no, more queueing! Whilst I fully appreciate queueing to meet santa is required it would have been helpful to be advised that there is further queueing inside because we queued for 1h 20m to meet the big fella! Our little girl was adjetated, bored and was a nightmare as nobody expected to queue that long so communication from staff would have been helpful or even a sign to say 1 hour from this point etc so people can make up their own minds. It would have also been great to have entertainers in the queue to take the kids 'mind off queueing' but there was nothing and I assure you we were not the only frustrated parents in that queue and a lot of people were saying the exact same thing. The only positive was that santa did not rush us when we finally got to meet him and the presents were actually good. Sadly the nwgatives outweighed the positives so we wont be...

Horrible place. I've been here a few times now and it just gets worse. It's falling apart and the staff are incredibly rude. I was shopping about 30 minutes before closing time and was told to start making my way to the checkout. I am 7 months pregnant and was carrying a rug and some other bits at the time. The staff member started trying to usher me towards the checkout even though it was only 3.30pm! They didn't even help to carry the rug and I am obviously very pregnant. I also had to get cat litter and struggled back down the stairs. I asked if the assistant would help me to get some and she said no and that they would be starting to close the gates so my car would be locked in If I didn't hurry. I just dropped the rug and the shopping at her feet and stormed out. Other staff saw it and laughed and made a "ooohhh, calm your t*!" 'remark. As I was driving out they were already closing the gates...it was 3.37pm!!! Revolting treatment, I have no idea why they are still in business. Hopefully they all lose their jobs when the new...

Just like any discount store as your likely to find more or less what you need, they dont do a bed selection of fireworks for when the time comes. When phoning in to find out if the y have what I need I tend to find they dont actually check for you but just wait next to the phone and then say sorry we dont stock that then to go down myself and find what I enquired about. Staff are friendly with the exception of a few grumps (more than likely its that certain day of the week, let's be honest we all have them). Reasonable parking on lower and upper car parks but this will most certainly change as there are plans for an Aldi to be built on upper car park in due course. You can pay via cash or contact less. There is also a little cafe at rear of garden centre on lower car park.
