Went in there for tasting the chicken shawarma and ended up having more than that. I heard there were customers driving from Southampton to taste a special lamb dish with rice and soup(a few to choose from on ur order) . The lamb was delicious and juicy and well cooked! The owner has quite a resemblance to a famous Hollywood actor , so I ended up taking a selfie with him(although it might not seem so on the photo) . Service has got better over the years instead of waiting 10+ minutes can get food in a few minutes now. Different people serving now. Very good value chicken shawarma £5.50 and increasing to £6 for mix and £6.50 for lamb. Wrap with fresh naan bread or a roll if you like bread. Missing item is tahini. Salad offering has also increased much more choice which adds to the overall flavour and texture. Never had the time to sit and eat but more options there like shish kebabs half chicken and burgers. Fantastic food. Both my wife and I love shawarma and were delighted to find this hidden gem. Naan bread were freshly made to order and the team behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. Definitely will go here more for our takeaway fix. Well worth a try even if you are not sure what to have. Food portions are large and very well seasoned. Great job guys! We will see...
