Wok Express — Local services in Portsmouth

There has clearly been a change of management or kitchen staff. For the last 18months I have been ordering regularly and thoroughly enjoying the high quality of your dishes. Standards and quality have absolutely dropped. One of my absolute favourite items which I ordered every time and was always rich, sweet, nutty and beautiful was your satay sauce. What I received last night a strange ‘new’ voice on the phone very dubiously called peanut “butter” sauce and not satay sauce which I didn’t think anything of it until I received my order. What i actually got was a congealed, coagulated amalgamation of bland peanut butter, onion and absolutely no flavour, sweetness or spice and it just stuck very unpleasantly to the roof of my mouth. It went straight in the bin and my enthusiasm to eat the rest of your food ever again was well and truly spent. You used to have the quality and consistency on point but it appears not anymore. Go back to the old recipe. I refuse to believe that stodgy mess is how it is suppose to be as I was told on the phone when I called to complain and was fobbed off. Never ever again will I spend £55+...

The food came superrrr fast we ordered about 60 pounds worth which was alot considerating how cheap the food was

Everything was a good portion and it tasted so nice . Staff really friendly and helpful can't recommend enough

They said the ribs where a tad salty but for a 10 pound started was amazing was .that was the worst comment anyone said so I take it as a win tofu was amazing X

Would order again if ever down...

I used to order from Wok Express all the time but since the change in management it's really gone downhill.

The delivery took 1.5 hours to arrive and by the time it arrived a couple of items were missing and the food was cold. I called the shop and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and uncaring.

I do not recommend...
