Popped in one Friday night, the ale and ciders on tap were excellent choices, the live music was beautiful and really added to what is a great friendly atmosphere. Will be back to try the menu soon as it looked intriguing. I sort of wish this was my local as people really were having such a good time in there, it's relaxed and upbeat, I like it, one group of a dozen crammed round a table laughing and bantering, clearly friends or colleagues, another table hosted a solitary person having a late tea, the rest were couples, very mixed but welcoming place. The food Did smell good, I wish I hadn't already eaten. If you like meals with pies this is a good suggestion. A proper little gem just off winckley square. Jonny always keeps a wide and varied selection on tap, and is always happy to help you find something you'll enjoy. Always welcoming, a cosy atmosphere with top notch sound track.

The food has always been delicious with generous portions and full of flavour. A meal and a pint will set you back about £15 (depending on the pint), and to be filled to the gills for two is about £50 with drinks. I've eaten almost everything on the menu, I couldn't recommend all of it enough!

My wife and I visited this lovely place for the first time today on my sons recommendation. The drinks were excellent, the food first class. I had 2 lovely Ipa's. I also had the Winkley beefburger and chips, it was delicious. My wife had Haloumi salad (which she shared with me), which was also delicious. I thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone who likes a craft beer (other drinks available). I also recommend their very tasty food. (Our compliments to chef). We will definitely be back.
