A hidden gem of a shop in Sheffield, I do not come up around this area often so I called them up asking if they had a certain video game I was interested in which is fairly hard to come by. I arrived at the shop and was greeted by a blast from the past! Amazing selection of stock including consoles that were older than me alongside more modern titles, there were lots of memorabilia and figures I was interested in but as to not go skint (despite the very fair pricing mind you!) I had to relent. The two blokes who run the shop are golden, I was being a burden and asking about a variety of things as to which they were able to answer quickly and explain to me what they were. If you’re looking for something obscure, come here. If you’re looking for something you think might be here, come here. If you’re around the area just give it a visit. I spent £162 on a variety of items including a few that are hard to come by. Will be visiting again when I return in...
Read moreThis was a hidden gem for sure.
Didn’t think inside would have many games but was I shocked.
The shop is in two parts. The first being a few DVD/Blu-Ray. A good selection of PSP games. A large selection of Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii games. A few rare consoles can also be found in the display cabinets.
Then when you walk into the second part your greeted with a big selection of PS2 and Xbox games. In the cabinets there is also array of N64, GBA, GB, GameCube, PS1, SNES, Saturn, Dreamcast, Mastersystem and MegaDrive games.
Oh and not to forget the large amount of boxed and unboxed consoles/accessories.
This shop really undersells itself from the outside and doesn’t convey the amazing retro gaming joy you will find.
The guys in there were happy to help and I didn’t feel out of place.
Highly recommend you check...
Read morePopped in today for the first time, my partner wanted some games for his recently revived Commodore 64, and what a surprise...they had some! What a fabulous step back in time this shop is, it brought back many memories of growing up in the 80s and 90s with my brother's gaming obsession (i was always player 2 😂). Clean and tidy, everything clearly and neatly displayed, no endless rummaging, so affordable too! More than worth a visit, the outside of the shop is a delight too, you can't miss it...fantastic!!! Friendly helpful staff, nothing bad to say,...
