Me and my girlfriend stopped off here for a quick bite to eat and a drink, it was 12:45 on a Tuesday afternoon, we sat down, and tbh we must have taken 20 minutes to decide what we wanted to eat, finally we decided what we wanted, so I walked upto the empty bar at around 13:10, the bar was empty because there wasn’t many people in at this time on a Tuesday, at first there was no service at the bar, but only for a few minutes which I didn’t care about, but then when I did get service, the first thing the woman says to me is; ‘it’s an hour wait for food!’… there was no hello, no explanation behind the bizarre 1 hour wait, there was no oh sorry you’ve just been looking through the menu for the past half an hour, I could have told you this when you walked in through the door and saved you your time, no instead we just got; ‘it’s an hour wait for food!’ … it came across very rude and tbh if I had the energy I would have questioned why the hell it was going to take an hour to serve food on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, when she hadn’t even heard what we wanted to order. Updated review: Went in to give it another try..... sadly we were disappointed. The ladies toilets had not been cleaned from the day the day before (over 24h ago according to the cleaning log). Empty bottle of vodka on the floor. Full big toilet roll in toilet pan. Toilet roll everywhere and empty rolls scattered about. The toilet roll dispensers are not used... I don't want to use toilet rolls that have been sat on top of overflowing sanitary bins! And the mens had no toilet roll at all between 2 toilet cubicles. No apology from staff when feedback was given.

Original review: The pub is OK, unfortunately the food isnt. We had halloumi fries, chicken sliders, Italian sausages, and a Chicken Mega sharer. The onion rings were especially bad, and were soggy. The rosemary and sea salted fries seem to have neither rosemary or sea salt. The halloumi fries were soggy as they were covered in salsa. The chicken wings and thigh in the sharer were nice but the chicken strips and the sliders were like what you would expect in a children's meal. Lots...

Horrible experience in one word. We went for the first time to this pub with kids and our experience was absolutely horrendous. The staff particularly one of the waitresses was definitely not interested in serving us and that was evident by the looks and ignorance that she showed us. Food took ages to arrive despite the pub not being busy. We had to remind them twice that we were waiting for the food and we have kids with us who are really hungry. When the food arrived - there was no cutlery, napkins or sauces with it. When I requested the waitress for sauce she told me when I finish serving others then she will get it. However, moments later I find her standing still and doing nothing. I had to go again on the counter and request for the sauce with her staring at me. The food quality was absolutely poor . one of the glasses on our table broke accidentally and to our surprise the waitress witnessed this on walked past our table . We had to finally call someone else to get it cleared. WILL NEVER VISIT...
