Craft Burger South Shields — Local services in South Tyneside

Went there a while ago and I can say the food is alright but there were some downsides , first of all the price tag ,we’re not in London to offer such a high price tag on the food we barley get payed well here and if my wife could cook I wouldn’t bother writing this review but I know some lads like me out there ,I literally payed £12.5 for a burger meal with two strips of chicken on it the bread is so thin but it was soft at the same time and the burger itself was good I won’t lie but the sides we’re supposed to be crunchy not brunt , one chicken strip was juicy and full of flavor but a bit salty I’d say and the other way overcooked I couldn’t finish it because of my crooked teeth (diabetes innit) The chips were well seasoned and tasted really good but my child complained about how the kids meal isn’t much to fill up his belly but he enjoyed it ,for me I was full and didn’t had anything for dessert but rest of the lads had some sweet stuff to eat and they said it’s good but they ate better desserts , the environment was nice and the music was something my 21 year old daughter would listen to , aver...

I have been sitting back and watching the hype of Craft Burger for a while now so I finally decided to make my way to the Boro branch yesterday to give it a go.

After trying all the smash burger joints in Newcastle from Burger Drop, Spice Hut to Loaded to others out of town such as Archies, Frankies to name a few. I can honestly say that Craft Burger hands down sits at the top of the pile for me.

I ordered a Pepz n Mots, a Bacon Stack Burger as well as the Stir Fry Donner and the Beef Chilli Loaded Fries. Honestly the highlight was the quality of the meats from the Angus beef, Donner and beef chilli, as well as the flavours, juiciness, presentation and the service was amazing.

I ‘m 100% converted to the Craft and I’m already looking forward to going back to maybe the South Shields branch next time to try the rest of the menu so if you haven’t already been, then you are deffo missing out!

Last time we came to South Shields we tried this restaurant and had it delivered to our hotel. We were blown away. Really enjoyed it and the delivery guy was friendly and chatty. We have returned to South Shields this weekend and were eager to order once again. After placing our order we called to tell them that the address for the order had changed during ordering and explained where we were actually staying. After a conversation happened on the other end of the phone between two men they laughed and hung up. Three hours later still no delivery although the app says delivered. Have requested a refund through just eat after multiple attempts to contact the restaurant and then not answering the phone. Just Eat managed to get through to the restaurant who told us it’d be delivered in ten minutes, finally arrived after three and an half hours stone cold. Extremely disappointing, will not be...
