I had high hopes when booking an eyebrow sculpt and spa pedicure at the Spa. Over 15 years ago, I had my bridal hair and makeup done there and the service was excellent ā so I expected the same level of care this time around. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didnāt live up to expectations. The same therapist carried out both treatments. The eyebrow sculpt took place in a very dimly lit room, and she immediately commented on how fair my hair was and how difficult it was to see. Unsurprisingly, when I got home, I noticed several hairs had been missed beneath the brow line, and I had to pluck them myself. It felt like a complete waste of Ā£18. As for the pedicure, the therapist mentioned that my skin was already smooth and didnāt require much filing. While she was friendly, the service felt rushed and impersonal. At the end, I was left alone in an empty room and told how to check if my nail polish was dry. I waited for a while, hoping sheād return, but she never did. I felt awkward and unsure of what to do ā not at all what I expected from a luxury spa. My skin also didnāt feel properly softened. Disappointed, I ended up going straight to a basic nail salon in Leamington Spa. Despite its no-frills setup and much lower price, the staff there made me feel genuinely looked after ā and my nails were redone beautifully. Sadly, I wonāt be returning to the Spa. The experience didnāt reflect the high standards I remembered...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had about 5 months of electrolysis treatment at The Spa with Becky, but unfortunately, I found the service to be lacking. After experiencing a burn at another venue and receiving no advice from Becky or recommendations regarding my skin, and seeing after each treatment that short hair weren't removed by her, I realised I needed a change. Plus, the treatment itself was quite painful, and I didn't see much improvement in my hair situation.
You don't know what good is until you meet a good therapist, seriously. Thankfully, I decided to search for another place, and I'm so glad I did. The difference is remarkable. The new therapist took the time to discuss my concerns about pigmentation and suggested ways to address them. Unlike at The Spa, where I felt every hair being pulled harshly, the electrolysis treatment is virtually painless plus the therapist doesn;t need to pull the hair they just litterally fall. Plus, at the end of each session, I can actually see all hair that have been removed and I'm handed a miror!!! Which Becky never did maybe she was so sure she's done a good job she thought that was not necessary, every time there I would check in my car's miror to see I had paid to still have hair and also not much...

Being a person who doesnāt go to spas, salons & hairdressers etc I always feel abit out of place when I do go but I didnāt feel that once during my visit at The Spa.
My therapist, Jenna made the whole experience 5 stars. I booked the Spa Starter which includes a Back Massage, Facial & either a Manicure or Pedicure.
Before starting the back massage, Jenna asked about any problem areas and pressure and then checked in again once she started which was ideal.
The facial was one of the best Iāve ever had and I went into having my manicure SO relaxed. It was really lovely to have the same therapist do all my treatments as I felt really well looked after and didnāt feel rushed or passed from pillar to post.
Jenna was so friendly and is a great asset to the team. Iād highly recommend and I canāt wait to...
