Fat Birds Cafe — Restaurant in Warwick

Great menu and whilst not the cheapest, they were competitive to all the cafes in this part of town. What they do have is a lot of choice, and lots of vegetarian options as well as meals I've not seen on other menus.

Service was very good and the waitress was friendly and warned us of a 30m delay due to the cafe being pretty much full. Food came before 30m had passed so that was a bonus.

Nice interior which contributed to the atmosphere. Cushions on the seats and we felt very comfortable, and not rushed. We were also brought some activity pages and crayons for the children whilst we waited.

Food was very good. I had the crumpets with cheese, garlic mushrooms, spinach and bechemel sauce. Great idea and very tasty. If I could ask for anything else, it would be for some more spinach 😁. We also had the soup of the day which was tomato and basil. This came with a warm white baguette half, croutons on the side as well as rocket. The whole dish looked lovely and tasted very good.

Definitely would visit again if we were in the area.

Was looking forward to have a breakfast at Fat Birds since it was my first day of my summer break. Fat Birds is always my go to place for a good breakfast.I had the giant bird breakfast without the black pudding But after today I don't think I will come back.A Wetherspoon English breakfast would have been better or I should have chosen the salmon scram breakfast. My cupacino was made in a rush and it was an imbalance of flavour , bitter in taste and weak . I ate most of the food because I am polite and was hungry . Customer service was not great either I decided to speak to the manager. I'm kind and would rather prefer just have a chat with the manager. Me and my friend came here on Tuesday to get some lunch. We walked in and a lady told us to take a seat anywhere. We asked if we could sit outside and so we did. Time passed and nobody came out to give us menus which I thought was strange because I’ve come here one other time before and they brung menus and did table service. (The time prior to this was a negative experience also but I like to give the benefit of the doubt). Nobody had come out but a worker came for a cigarette break so we’d asked if it’s table service or if we go in. She told us it isn’t table service for outside. So fair enough, we go in and grab a menu and we go back in to order. We walk in and nobody is at the counter, nobody is on the floor (or we thought) and we waited for a minute or two before realising all the members of staff were sat down on a table chatting and drinking coffee.
