If you like charity shops, over priced food and vape shops then it'll be great for you. There's nowhere to buy boys or mens clothes other than mountain warehouse or charity shops, only place for women's clothes is Select or charity shops. There's a CEX, small b&m, pound shop, card factory and phone shop. Subway, expensive grubby cafe, fish mongers and the pantry. I struggle to spend more than ยฃ20 in The Guineas Centre as I don't go in charity shops or make a habit of eating there (Subway is actually decent for a Subway, the Cafe is dirty with poor food and costs more than a decent restaurant.) The pantry looks nice but I haven't eaten there yet due to the location (opposite a working man's pub and charity shop, the "view" is B&M, charity shops and "working mans" pub). Overall the Guineas Centre is more suited for benefit claiments (with plenty hanging around, smoking, spitting, being antisocial), not much going for it, aside from The Pantry which is oddly placed, as it seems lovely, but doesn't suit it's poorer...
ย ย ย Read moreThere is a reasonable selection of shops in the shopping center,Poundland,Argos,Carphone , Boots,Works, Pandora,Costa,CEX, and Marks and Spencer to name a few. There is level pay and display parking as well as another level of parking. The car park offers easy access parking for the blue badge holder but offers no concessions. There is also one or two charging bays for the electric car owners. Just outside the car park there is a large well kept public toilet. My only dislike of this shopping center is that it is all under glass at the entrance that leads down to an area that opens out onto the street and market square. Due to this style of construction there is no air conditioning of the closed in area and in the summer the heat of the sun can be rather over powering through...

THE most glorious chip shop situated just outside (conveniently near the cash point of the local Bank) which makes that part of town smell wonderful at lunchtime! It does permeate most of shops though, so if you don't like the smell, it could get a bit much - especially for the retail staff, who are in the thick of it day after day ๐ค. The shops I visited - poundland, boots, superdrug, all 7 of the charity shops, card shop, Claire's, were ALL friendly and well stocked. The staff were helpful and cheerful. A highly recommended shopping centre if you are...
