The Bushel Inn — Restaurant in West Suffolk

I just called up the number that is listed on their Facebook page. The person picked up the phone, saying that it's Saturday afternoon and he is sick of this *hit. I called because I wanted to ask if the pub is dog friendly, he answered very sarcastically that it is. Then he proceeded to tell me that it is not a weekday, hence the reason he is annoyed by my call. I asked him if he runs a pub which is open on a Saturday, his answer was yes, so not entirely sure why a phone call about a later visit was all that surprising. He then told me to go away and hung up the phone. What an utterly disgusting way to talk to customers. I will make sure I'll never visit this place ever again and will do my best to spread the message about this horrible approach....

My daughter Chell and I were shopping today and decided to go for dinner. We went into the bushel and asked if they had any seats ( as it said booking recommended) spare which they had. We sat down and looked at the menu we ordered the roast dinner 🍴. I had turkey and gammon and Chell had beef and pork. When it arrived it was hot and very tasty. We also got roast potatoes, stuffing ball and Yorkshire pudding. The vegetables were carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli also a dish of mashed potato. All in all it was a brilliant meal and the staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely...

shame have eaten there before and had some great meals unfortunately me and the wife decided just to have a drink on saturday afternoon wife ordered a rose wine (one of those i Heart rose mini bottles)barmaid could not open the bottle and had taken it out back retuning with the glass full and an empty bottle.The wine was possible the worst we have ever tasted they did replace it with a different wine i cant help but feel were being ripped of with a swapped wine out back .All this time a very drunk man was loudly talking to anyone who would listen no fault of the pub but they continued...
