Wolf Mountain Activity Centre — Local services in Wolverhampton

Wolf Mountain is an amazing place for beginners or experienced rock climbers. You can do bouldering or climb with ropes. There is also an artificial cave system for people interested in caving. My son has achieved his bronze and silver awards in climbing from Wolf Mountain. The staff are all so friendly, it is a very welcoming environment, staff are always happy to help you with anything. There is a ping pong table and food and drinks can be bought there too. A great idea for a different kind of birthday party for kids. Warm, welcoming, family-friendly, highly trained staff. Clean, and my son has also been on activities with Wolf Mountain in the school holidays, where they take the kids fishing, climbing, and bike riding. Although as of writing this in 2024, I am unsure if this is still available. There is a large car park outside the centre. I highly recommend this rock...

TODAY WE CAVED!!! Having become occasional part-time semi regular climbers at this gaff, we have built a rapport with the marvellous Zack and Jack so we knew we’d be in for a fun afternoon. They are both knowledgable and great with the kids (and adults), so it was an eager waited return. But today was caving…… It wasn’t long before I reignited my true fear and hatred for enclosed spaces. But as always the quick witted silky tongued Zack 😍 (our very own underground Indiana Jones style guide) lightened the mood with appropriate chilean miner/buried alive anecdotes to calm the initial fears of us claustrophobes. Once in the full swing of things we had an AMAZING time. The kids rating of 601 out of 100 only gives us more reason to return. We will definitely be back again. Me and my two friends visited today and had an amazing time! Tyler was our instructor. he was extremely friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout. There is a small rock climbing area and a big rock climbing area with higher height which me and my mates did the big area. It was a challenge on some of the walls but Tyler managed to help us through it. Tyler, if you’re reading this, thankyou for giving us the best experience and helping us through it. you are amazing and a polite guy, and we hope to see you again soon.
