From the moment you step into The Newbridge Steakhouse, the atmosphere is both cozy and welcoming, with a touch of rustic charm that immediately makes you feel at ease. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated to delivering a great experience. The English breakfast here is generously portioned, making it ideal for a hearty start to the day. The plate includes the classic essentials: two well-cooked eggs, crispy bacon, juicy sausages, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, and toasted sourdough. Every item is cooked to perfection, with just the right balance between crispy and tender textures. The sausages, in particular, stand out — they’re flavorful, juicy, and have that freshly grilled taste that’s hard to beat. The presentation is carefully done, showing that attention has been paid not just to the flavor but also to how the meal looks when it arrives at the table. The colors are vibrant, especially the perfectly grilled tomatoes and the fresh greens used as garnish. Each component complements the other, making the whole meal balanced and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. If you’re a coffee lover, you’re in for a treat. Their coffee is rich and bold, pairing wonderfully with the breakfast. Alternatively, they offer a good selection of teas for a lighter accompaniment. The optional sides, such as mushrooms or avocado, are fresh and can be added to enhance the meal further. The staff made sure that everything was served hot and exactly as ordered. The relaxed ambiance, coupled with the great food, makes The Newbridge Steakhouse an excellent choice for a casual breakfast outing. It’s perfect for a leisurely breakfast with family, like yours with your sister, where you can catch up and enjoy a quality meal in a relaxed setting. The English breakfast at The Newbridge Steakhouse on Tettenhall Road delivers on taste, quality, and ambiance. It’s a lovely spot for anyone in Wolverhampton looking to enjoy a classic breakfast experience with a little extra flair. If you and your sister enjoy hearty, well-made breakfasts, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We booked the Newbridge for their pizza making children's party, which seemed like a novel, fun and educational way to keep a bunch of 4 year olds entertained! Alongside my wife and the children, we arrived in advance to allow us adults to eat. The carvery at the Newbridge rarely disappoints and today was no exception - delicious, succulent cuts of beef, turkey and gammon with a "help yourself" choice of vegetables and condiments. It had been a couple of years since I'd eaten at the Newbridge and I couldn't help but ask myself why; it was both delicious and affordable. At party time, we really couldn't ask for more. The table was set up with extra reserved tables nearby for the adults. To begin, the kids decorated their chefs hats, colouring them in - cardboard that adjusted to head size. Next, the kids got to do everything from rolling the dough, to spreading the tomato base and adding their preferred toppings. Down time in between (the pizzas are taken away to be cooked) was filled in with more colouring, before the pizza arrived, with fries also. Seeing the enjoyment of the kids eating the pizza they had made was heart warming. Who knows, maybe this will stick with them and they'll take up an interest in food prep and cooking? To finish off, they could choose a scoop of ice-cream with the toppings they wanted. There was also a goody bag each provided by the Newbridge. I'd thoroughly recommend a pizza making party at the Newbridge - special thanks to Kellie who pulled it all together, nothing was too much trouble.

At 14.25 went to Newbridge pub to see if I had accidentally left my wallet in there by accident from the day before when I met a friend who came from Birmingham to console me because my wife of 40 years of marriage had passed away. We had a pleasant time with cappuccino and munchies. However the next visit was not so cordial . The staff shouted at me because I was getting flustered. They admitted they had a small black bag handed in with a wallet and a bus pass in there and I was so relieved because the loss of Visa cards is so traumatic. It's the replacing them and being without access to money for weeks I find so stressful. These people shouted at me because they said the photo did not look like me. The photo is ten years old and I've aged considerably due to my wife's ailing health and all. I could have told them the date of renewal of the bus pass because it's the same as my date of birth. I could have told them the VISA number on my card but no they wouldn't listen they kept talking over me. I believe that being reasonable is meeting people half way but with some people it's all their way or the bloody high way. I wonder why pub/ restaurant staff talk down to customers like they are just dirt 🤔 then I remembered this is how it was during the plandemic...barking orders at everybody and that's why I stopped eating out, because every where retail staff behaved like government officers toward the public and scolded them for not doing as they were told. And I guess when you feel a power rush on the job bossing people around it's hard to give up when the crisis is over. I am going to put up a video of these people abusing me for wanting my property back. They threatened me with police which I thought 'great' because the Police wouldn't talk to me like that they would be calm and ask the right questions and give me a chance to speak. So I said "go ahead call the police". This made me late for an appointment but I thought I need my money to go shopping. I was so distressed with my blood pressure problem and all I thought I really need an ambulance. Later I spoke to a solicitor about it and I've decided to prosecute these people for denial of human rights guaranteed by law, harassment especially of someone frail almost eighty years of age who has just suffered bereavement, and attempted theft of property. (Finders keepers) Is NOT a lawful position. Possession may be nine points of the law which is 90% of the find not 100%. I tried to explain to these people I had experience of defending others in court because of human rights abuses but they just laughed and mocked me. I will be putting up the video on YouTube. Any winnings in court will go to charity

Since putting this up the management (UN named) have stated a defence with their version of the events, well you will have your chance to have your say in court . I have a video recording of the event. The staff were NOT reasonable. Which means meeting people halfway, Even if the Police demanded my name in a public place I have a right to keep it quiet so other members of the public do not get access to my private information. I could have written my name on my pad, also other details which no one else could possibly know about the contents of the bag, but your staff were not willing to listen to anything I wanted to suggest as a halfway alternative. They treated me like they were my superiors and denied my human rights to equality. And this claim that 'you are sorry', is not acceptable, I didn't detect any sense of apology when the staff started making unreasonable demands, and becoming argumentative. Missing property can and should be given to the police but seems like the Stonehouse Family enterprises feel they can do a better job than the Police. This shall...

We really fancied a carvery this evening 14/05/25. Called ahead to see what time food was on till, was told 9pm, also clarified if we had to book for carvery, was told ‘no you can just come in’. We dutifully arrived, asked the waitress if we needed to order at the bar, were informed that we could order at the bar but would be quicker to order through the QR code on the table and drinks and food tickets would be delivered to us. We dutifully ordered through the recommended way, 15-20 minutes later still no drinks which were two bottled cokes, one bottled water and two the full works carvery tickets.

My other half went to the bar to see what was going on, 10 minutes later arrived back with drinks and food tickets. What was the hold up? One member of staff working the bar. Apologised. We walked up to the carvery to see a tiny slither of beef and gammon. We enquired if that was all the meat left, chef said yes! We asked for ‘The Full Works?’. Chef sighed and went into the kitchen. (Not great.) We could see all staff discussing with the manager the situation. Different chef comes out and says there’s been a miscommunication, there is no carvery. We questioned why the manager hasn’t come out to us? We were informed She will be round the other side of the bar, we requested a refund. So had to walk round to the bar.

Managers attitude was defensive, dismissive, patronising and rude. Explained we were dissatisfied and disappointed in the lack of customer service. Manager would not let us get a word in and kept interrupting. My other half called her out on this and her reaction was to carry it on doing the same thing! Also tried to justify empty carvery by stating the £6.00 carvery offer was really busy, (You see what she tried?) knowing full well whilst processing our refund we had ordered The Full Works carvery which was £13.99 per person. Our total bill was just under £42.00!

In conclusion, save your money! Customer service is non existent, from our observations chefs don’t take their role seriously, saw them messing around in the pizza section. Waitress in restaurant was busy, doing lots of work. Manager really needs to take a training course in taking ownership, interactions with patrons and customer service skills! We weren’t the only patrons complaining! Chap waiting over 30 minutes for two burgers, other woman complaining about a cold burger. Really don’t understand what’s happened to The Newbridge, it used to be a great place to dine! 20 years later it’s really gone down hill. If we could give no...

Our visit was not great at all.

Upon arriving at The Newbridge, there were people ahead of us waiting to be seated and nobody to greet them. After waiting 10 minutes everyone decided to just find their own table.

My daughter and I found a table and I went to the bar to order. My daughter chose the carvery and I decided to have a meat feast calzone. We also ordered starters as the person at the bar informed me it would be 20 minutes for the pizza and that way fine. 30 minutes in and no starters or pizza appeared we finally managed to find a member of staff and ask about our food. They apologised and 10 minutes later the starters arrive but still no pizza, by this point I had already gone to get my daughters carvery as she was very hungry.

At the carvery, I was the only one there at the time, and they had to change the turkey, another 12 minutes pass by the time they bring the turkey out. I return to our table to find the pizza has still not arrived. My daughter has her carvery, and we have our starters. A waitress notices I still have not had my pizza and goes to check, another waitress comes out with a meat feast pizza, not the calzone that I ordered. I explain by this time that it is over 55 minutes since we ordered. She apologises and says she will ask them to make me my order straight away. She comes back to the table and says she has spoken to the manager and informs us as compensation that we can have the other wrong pizza to take away anyway and 2 free deserts.

My calzone arrives 15 minutes later a full 70 minutes from when we ordered. It's ok, very average and felt like it was rushed. By this point, my daughter and I have both eaten at different times which defeats the whole object of going out for dinner together. At this point we have told them what desserts we want and that we want them to take away and could they bring them asap because at this point, I don't want to stay any longer than I have.

I finish this in about 10 mins and leave 1/4 of it, again, because it was average and I've had enough now, mainly due to the experience. The desserts nor the other pizza have arrived yet. We don't see a waitress for about another 10 minutes. I then ask again for the desserts. 10 minutes later the deserts arrive, but no pizza.....I have lost the will to live and we leave.

The staff were nice enough but customer services and attentiveness is a 0 out of 10.

This has put us off from ever coming back. I hope that this feedback will help to...
