Hong's Fashions and Alterations is THE place to go if you need a dress altered! My daughter's flower girl dress came in way too snug, cutting uncomfortably under her arms and restricting her breathing. I was in a panic but Kathy very calmly determined it would be no problem to let the dress out a couple inches from the back. Did I mention that this was only 5 days from the wedding date? When my daughter and I ran back over to pick up the dress, I. WAS. FLOORED. Kathy is an absolute master of her craft!! The dress was exactly what it should have been to begin with, a comfortable fit, and seriously had no visible evidence that it had been altered. The dress was also very heavily played in and danced in for several hours after pictures but the work Kathy did held firm. I don't know how she did it but she saved the day and I am so thankful for it. The alterations cost was very affordable and I recommend Hong's Fashions and Alterations to everyone. I decided to go local for my wedding dress alterations instead of using David’s Bridal or another wedding dress shop because I had always heard horror stories and heard it was much more affordable as well. My alterations included hemming the front of my dress, letting out about 4 inches around the hips, see in bra cups, and a bustle for under $600. I did not have this price anywhere else but from experience I’ve seen brides pay upwards of $900 so I felt for all it included and in 3 appointments it was well worth it.

She was very detailed and you can tell she knows what she’s doing! She even helped me in my dress when I couldn’t have anyone make it to a fitting with me! Super friendly and my dress fit like a glove once she was finished! 10/10 WOULD...

If I could give no stars for their services I would, I took two of my dresses in for alterations for my wedding, i dropped both off on October 12th and and I picked them up on November 7th. They appeared to be off but I waited until I got home to try them on again to be sure. They were not right. I took them to another professional and she looked the dress over and said that none of the dress was altered. I called the owner and she refused to answer my call until I called with a different number. She was very rude, she did offer to fix the issue but unfortunately I already had it altered somewhere else. $274.99 is what Hongs charged me for the two dresses and she didn’t offer to...
