I went sometime in early February when it was a very rainy day, so an employee was bringing a sign and they held the door open for me, I said thank you and then started shopping. I was the only person inside and it was my first time there so I was just browsing, looking for some food for my cats. They’re definitely in the pricier side of pet stores and they don’t have a lot of variety for cats (imo). The two employees there made me feel so uncomfortable, even though I made countless rounds in the cat section they just stayed in the check stand, staring at me the whole time. Luckily someone else came in but they treated this other customer very differently. They greeted them as soon as they came in and when they looked like they couldn’t find something, an employee went up to them and asked if they could help with anything. When I was ready, I went to pay. The person checking me out didn’t say anything to me and stayed silent the whole time. As I was checking out, the customer who needed help previously also checked out and the difference was insane! The small talk, talk about how it’s pouring out, about their animals(?!?) like come on I didn’t even get a “thank you have a nice day” out of my cashier!! I haven’t returned and don’t plan to simply because I’ve never felt sooo uncomfortable in an establishment. I wanted to try out the shop as it’s near me but definitely...
Read moreThere grooming side of this place may be good but the care and husbandry for there reptiles is completely un acceptable. First off this false chamelon they have is such horrible shape its disgusting. No running water (they can’t drink still water so basically no hydration), improper humidity, nothing for an ARBOREAL reptile to climb on, no uvb, underweight, and clearly dehydrated. Along with the water bowl in the crested tank was absolutely filthy. I mean it has to be weeks if not months for a water bowl to look like that. They shouldn’t have a animal selling license and please if your gonna buy a reptile get it from a locally owned store not these big corporations that no absolutely nothing about the animals they sell. According to one of the employees the false chamelon that this one replaced also died to starvation....

Our 12 week old puppy went through the softer ones within minutes. We contacted the store to see if we could exchange this after ones for the harder ones. We were told yes but when we went there to exchange them, they were charging us about two dollars to exchange 3 chew sticks since they only returned 3 and rung up as purchasing 3 (ie loosing the 5 qty discount even though we did purchase a total of five) Even though PetSmart is further from home, we will be driving the extra from now on. Long and short, when told we would have no problem doing and “exchange” that turned into a return and purchase at a...
