Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

If I could, I would of given this location zero stars. Went to waffle house this morning with my two friends. Just like any other time ordered our food and started eating. But as I was eating my grits, I found a hair in them. Which to a point even though it was gross. I understand things happen. So I waited to tell my waiter and started eating my eggs. Were to my surprise bit into something crunchy. Which I guess was egg shells and after all that I told someone I wanted to speak to a manager. They told the lady manager and we sat there waiting patiently for at least 15-20 minutes. She also kept saying she was coming and then as my friend called for her she yelled I am busy. Which I am an understanding person. It's Sunday and you are busy but someone asked for you. Which in my opinion respectfully you should check and see what was going on. But even after finally getting her attention she yelled at me very loudly so everyone could hear and didn't care that I had hair in my food or egg shells in my eggs. She told me tell your waiter and then after I tried saying something she said I got your meal you can leave. I would not recommend this waffle house to anyone. The management is rude...

I decided to pull up with friends after a shift tonight and a long day. I came in and saw every table dirty, knowing you typically seat yourself, I sat down at a dirty table and waited patiently because the staff was busy.

However they ignored me and served people who came in after me. After 20 minutes we got up and moved to a clean table thinking they maybe thought we already ate.

On our way to the new table a lady there un politely shouted at us to stop. She said the table was not clean but it was actually clean, it just still had the cleaning rag on the table though. A polite request would have been nice.

We then after being shouted at in the middle of a restaurant just sat down and waited patiently. She then told us what should have been told to us 40 minutes earlier, “We are not aloud to sit at dirty tables” then she said she would not be serving us and made us wait on another server. So the entire staff ignored me and my friends for 30 minutes instead of just politely asking us to let them clean or give them time. What horrible customer service. I have no idea why people feel like they can treat people like this. We were ignored, yelled at, and...

I would usually give them I higher rating because most of the staff is friendly and tentative, but while about 3/4 of the way through my meal today and listening to the majority of the staff hanging out talking right near my booth, it wasn't hard to over hear that one of the staff members that was there had a fever and was worried about getting sent home. Usually it's widely practiced that if you have a fever you don't work, especially in the food service industry and especially during the current pandemic. That was bad and I was already regretting my decision to eat there but then it got worse when my own server came out and told the other girl who had a fever not to worry because she also has a fever and didn't get sent home. I know Waffle House has a public image of not being the most clean and we'll maintained place to eat, and I usually try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after this I will not be going back.
