First, I want to say Tom is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he takes great customer very seriously. I watched him tonight load up a large box onto a dolly, wheel it out to the customers car and load it up for her. It was HIS pleasure, I could tell. We’ve been a customer of his for about 18 years now and we take our business to him for a reason. Little story about Tom. We first really met Tom when our son was deployed to Iraq in 2006. Our daughter (his sister) had the idea to start collecting items to send over before Christmas to her brother and the other soldiers with him. From Oct. 23 to Nov. 17 we had so, so many caring people from our communities donate. They brought deodorant, razors, gum, Tylenol, toothpaste, paperbacks, snacks and lots of other useful items, the list goes on and on. It was so much fun to see what was being brought in. Lots of Halloween candy. Someone even donated golf clubs and golf balls. Some gave toys, coloring books, crayons and such for the soldiers to share with the kids. Others donated money to defray the shipping cost. We sent over 3 microwaves, coffee makers and clock radios. The largest quantity of any single item collected? Wet wipes 7,413 of them! Here’s where Tom Sansom comes in. We had collected boxes along the way but near enough. Tom supplied us boxes to cover what we didn’t have, supplies, packing and tape and his employees to help us. It was getting pretty close to Christmas and he had already had a spare trailer delivered for his overflow. As we got the boxes packed up he let us put the boxes in the trailer until the job was complete, again all with the help of his employees. Tom even helped us take the boxes to the P.O. where I waited while my husband and Tom made several trips back and forth. Together, with Tom’s help we shipped 33 large boxes weighing a total of 1,254 lbs. And it was all delivered by Christmas and a surprise. Tom is one of a kind and a true Patriot I might add. Thank you so much Tom for being...
Read moreThis is one of the worse UPS stores I’ve been in. I’ve given 3 chances; the first two they were extremely slow, but overall friendly. This last time was terrible. I buy and sell shoes so I ship 10+ packages a week. Some get sent through USPS and I always get a receipt. I went in today to drop off and the lady said she could not print me a receipt. I told her that the USP store 5 minutes up the road by Publix does it all the time no issue. She said I was wrong and they didn’t (I go there almost every time). She then told me when she scans the label it doesn’t even do anything on her computer (which was a full on lie). I left and drove up the road to my normal location and within 2 minutes I had dropped them off and got a receipt. My normal store informed me that they can always print me a USPS receipt (as I’ve done it 100 times in the past) and the employees at the bad store probably just didn’t want to. I highly recommend going to a different UPS store. I feel the entire staff at this location needs to be retrained or replaced. If you need a UPS use the one at 2774 Cobb Pkwy NW. It’s always a...
Read moreCustomer service here is a joke. The “manager” Andrea, if she’s really the manager is so rude. I called trying to get help with returning an Amazon package & I was trying to find out if I needed to box it up or just bring it in or what. When I called & said I had an Amazon package that I was trying to return & they had told me to take it to a UPS store she replies “I don’t know who “they” is!” & then I told her again Amazon & she kept talking over me & wouldn’t even listen. I eventually ask if I could speak to a manager & she told me she was the manager.
I ended up taking it to another location & all I had to do was take it in they scan a code I had & the guy put a sticker on the item & I was done. Less than 3 minutes. Should have been an easy answer for...
