"A COMEDY OF ERRORS, but ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL" So, the day before my original scheduled delivery date I noticed that my contact phone number was entered wrong on the Mattress Firm status web page. I contacted the store to advise them and they said the would get it corrected. Later that afternoon I went to check it my phone number have been corrected. I entered my order number and it came up "NO ORDER FOUND". I repeated it several times and then called the store. They told me that I/We had cancelled the order. Needless tho say I went berserk on them! I was later contacted by the Senior Store Manager and told there was a computer glitch that cancelled my order when my phone number had been updated (I'm retired fro AT&T and IBM, so I bought that story!). Anyway the Store Clerk told me that unfortunately when the order was cancelled my purchased bed was released, and no longer available, and the did not know when they could get it again. This time I DOUBLE BERSERK!! Again, the Senior Store Manager called me to tell me that they had recovered my order and my bed, but it would be two days from now that they could deliver it. The bed came as scheduled on the second delivery date, but I had ordered their most expensive mattress protector and the delivered their cheapest. I called the Senior Store Manager, again. As I said, all it well that ends well. The Senior Store Manager made several adjustments to my bill for all our inconveniences, told me to keep the cheaper mattress protector for free and he would ship me the one I had ordered. Read moreDon, our representative at Mattress Firm, was a very pleasant gentleman. He used the information we gave him regarding our preferences to help us narrow down the wide variety of mattresses they had available and wasn't pushy about any one in particular. He helped us weigh quality and cost for our financial and physical needs and provided many various options for us to choose from, and we went out of there with a delivery scheduled. We hadn't gone in planning on buying one, but their Labor Day sale was pretty tempting to at least look.
I was very surprised at affordability as I'd never bought a mattress before, having used the same one I'd inherited from my childhood bedroom once I moved out. Equally surprised was my fiance's reaction to the mattress we ended up buying. He has numerous back issues and body aches, and when he started feeling better while testing the thing, our choice was cemented.
Aside from that, the entire store was clean, the show mattresses were neat, and delivery was prompt and very professional. I'll be referring this store and Mr. Don to my co-workers and friends. Read moreThe employees at the Acworth store were great. They helped with a horrible experience with the online order I placed with Mattress Firm for a queen boxspring. The online order was scheduled for delivery to my home last Sunday. After receiving notification that the delivery was on the way, I watched the driver go by my house without stopping. I called the Acworth store hoping they could let the warehouse know about the non-delivery. They were very helpful and called me back reporting the warehouse could not stop the driver. They would deliver the following Wednesday. On Wednesday, the warehouse delivered a TWIN SIZE box spring. No delivery ticket, or any paperwork accompanied the item delivered. I called the Acworth store again reporting the wrong delivery, and again they were very helpful. They held a queen boxspring for me and swapped out the twin. They honored the online price as well.
