Years later and my favorite work jacket, highly tailored by Olena is still in great shape. It performs so well that I bought two more jackets and had Olena tailor them for me. My son and father now use them regularly as well. It has been awhile since I have been to her shop. I have 4 new pieces that need modification. I am not calling around. I am going straight to Olena.

Original review back in 2020… Olena has altered and or repaired five of my jackets a fleece and probably four pair of pants. I am super happy with her customer service and her work.

My first experience with her was when she took in my Patagonia work jacket. The fabric is very thick and hard to work with. Three other tailors declined the job before I found her. She got the work done in just a couple of days and I’ve used it daily for over six months. It works perfectly and has shown no wear.

I am super finicky about my clothing. I trust her with my most expensive and complicated pieces. She has taken very good care of me. I highly recommend her.

Given the many positive reviews online, I was expecting excellent service at a great price. I had some small mending to do, the quote seemed pricey, but she said she would be able to complete it for me at a date we decided based on when I would be available to pick up. Called to check in prior to pick up, and she did not remember me, my order, day of drop off or pick up. Unfortunately, she did not get to my order and misremembered what day I would be picking up my items. She shared she was busy with wedding dresses, and she would be unable to get to my order.

I understand there are probably bigger orders to get to, rather than my items to be mended. However, I am still a customer, and I was willing to pay and overlook the excessive price for the work I needed done. Very disappointed and unsatisfied with...

I can not say enough about Olenas work ! She is fantastic !! I found her through my sister who lives in Longmeadow Mass. Just down the street from her quaint sewing shop in Enfield Conn. Olena is exceptional and is quick and always does her best for promt service ! I say this becsuse I actually live on Cape Cod and will ONLY come here for any of my alterations . When I plan to come to visit my sister I always bring down some sort of clothing whether its to be shortened , taken in or redesigned .she can do anything - she does everything from altering , furniture upholstery, to designing and creating wedding dresses !!!
