2025-06: This bridge has been MUCH improved since it was rebuilt and widened. Handles the traffic both ways much better. 2022-12: So, it's a bridge.. soon to be a newer bridge.. hopefully. Hah. I've gone over this bridge too many times to count over the last 12 years or so. Also been under the bridge (get your mind out of the gutter). The Augusta Canal Trail runs under it upstream where it begins and downstream far past the scope of the bridge. Hope the work to update it is done soon because not only was it needed but I have this crazy thought that traffic won't be as congested or slow when it's complete. (Yeah, I'm delusional. 😂)
