Terrible experience at Topgolf Augusta location. Friday, some friends and I decided we wanted to go Saturday. Had 9 people only allowed 8 per bay. Was told I had to make an event online. (EVENT is different than regular reservations). Did that, 2 bays with food included. Got the confirmation email below saying if headcount falls below “we’ve got you covered”(you would think this meant if someone drops, we can go down to one bay and up the food or something.) NO it doesn’t. And doesn’t apply day of (which I can understand) So I just invited more friends. That was annoying, but what really bothered me is at the end of the night when I asked for a military discount, I was told I can’t. Was told it’s usually only for game play/regular reservations, but the screenshots clearly show its 10% for events as well. Was also told I can’t do it at the end of the night, I would have had to do it before, but you have to make reservations online, and you can’t apply the discount online. Essentially this means the only way I could have applied the discount was the brief window when I got there, to walk in right away and say I’m military. I’ve personally never seen this in an establishment. Most places the check/bill comes then you apply the discount. The guy checking us out offered some vouchers, I said no thanks for me, I probably won’t be back, but he could give them to my guests. My guests didn’t receive anything smh. I felt shafted bc the check out guy originally told me the discount is not for events when clearly it is. Called multiple times to try to see what could be done, finally received a call back from the event manager today and was told I was authorized a discount on game play only (food NOT included, that is in the fine print). Was told I won’t be getting a refund though bc my event was 5 days ago (idk if it was the amount of time passed, bc I called the day after and was waiting for a call back, or just bc it was the past but thats what a refund is smh). Manager did offer me $25 off game play, but like I said probably wont be back. The best thing about Top Golf was my company.

⭐☆☆☆☆ If I could give zero stars, I would. Topgolf was a total disaster from start to finish. We had a reservation and STILL waited over an hour with no explanation or apology. The front desk staff seemed completely clueless and overwhelmed — it was chaos. Once we finally got to our bay — surprise! The system barely worked. The screens glitched, the ball tracker failed to register half our shots, and no one on staff seemed trained or willing to help fix anything. Why am I paying premium prices for a tech-driven experience when the “tech” belongs in a landfill? The food and drinks? Embarrassingly bad. $17 for cold, rubbery chicken tenders and fries that tasted like they’d been under a heat lamp all day. And looked like mold Overpriced drinks that were watered down and took forever to arrive. Our server was either overwhelmed or indifferent — either way, it was clear customer service was not a priority here. And just to add salt to the wound: the final bill was outrageous. Between the broken gameplay, garbage food, and nonexistent service, we somehow racked up a tab that looked like we dined at a five-star restaurant. I felt robbed. There’s no other word for it. Topgolf clearly doesn’t care about quality, service, or value. It’s a shiny, loud money pit designed to funnel people through a broken system while nickel-and-diming every step of the way. I left angry, embarrassed I brought friends, and furious that I spent a dime there. Avoid Topgolf like the plague. You’ll thank yourself later.watch out for snakes found one slithering across the green right in front of me also the bathroom nasty

Me and my fiancé visited TopGolf of the first-time Father's day weekend. We arrived with high expectations. Thinking the menu was going be some much more. We were quickly let down. As we walked in waiting to be greeted. We decided to seat ourselves. We waited 20 maybe 30 minutes. Just when we decided to leave a manager came over and took our order, while a waitress informed us of shift change and would have to wait to place an order. Foods arrives not prepared as informed by the executive chef. We had to ask someone for silverware, napkins and straws. Now it's time to leave here we go again waiting 20 to 30 now minutes. Informed assigned waiter of lack of service including food. Here comes another manager. He was pleasant, professional and a very good listener. Thanks to his understanding will we return. Attached below are two pictures that displayed how the staff really work good together, but the customers fell like they are nothing more than a bother.

I had very high expectations before arriving due to the number of people that have told me they had an amazing time, but was fairly disappointed with our visit.

Going into the facility, we had a feeling we would have to wait because the reservations were full online, but was pleasantly surprised when they said there was a lane available. We were taken to 136 and was greeted and assisted on the initial startup, which went very smoothly.

The system was not working no matter what game we tried to play. When we expressed this to our server, they simply said to restart the game and try again and that there was nothing they could do. I jokingly asked if it was because we weren't hitting the targets (I am NOT good at golf at all so I was wondering if this was part of the issue), but again, was told to continue restarting the game until it worked. There were also several times when the ball would not dispense and we would have to wait for our server to come back to us before continuing.

Thankfully we only bought an hour of time, but I was disappointed nothing was done to resolve the system issue. The server offered to add additional time for us to golf, but what was the point if the system wasn't working and we would have to wait for the server to come back if the dispenser stopped working again? I wish that if the system wasn't working they would have offered to switch us to another lane, given us a voucher to use at a different time, or refunded our money altogether.

Aside from the system error, mostly friendly staff and the food was okay. The server apologized for the wait on the food and drinks and said the kitchen was running behind, which I appreciated. In my opinion the best part of the space was the courtyard, which offered cornhole, a fire pit, Jenga, nine holes of mini-golf, and relaxing seating.

It looked like other lanes were having a good time and had no system issues, so I hate to dictate my review on my single visit, but I would hesitate to go back knowing I could possibly be wasting my money again. I also hate to think that all the groups that use the same station after us will deal with the same issue without resolution (we were there early in the evening) and that the workers or management would possibly continue to rent out the lane knowing this problem exists. I'm not sure if they need more time to get things together, but I would go with the expectation of system issues and longer waits, or only go for the...

Poor Service and Rude Staff We've been here 3-4 times and we've had issues each time. The staff don't seem like they really care about the quality of service they provide.

This most recent visit, the bay host barely talked to us or checked on us. He didn't really seem to care. When we went to pay our check, it took him a long time to get us the bill and charge my card. Between giving me the check and charging my card he added more food and drink to my bill and didn't say anything. When I asked him about it, he tried to convince me that it was correct. When I insisted that he was wrong he left to get the manager. The food was clearly for the bay next to us because it eventually came and the bay next to us said it was theirs so they took it. The manager said he fixed the bill but I still ended up having to pay more in the end than the original bill. But, by that point, we had already been waiting to leave for 20+ minutes so I didn't say anything and just paid it.

This whole time, a couple other staff members were standing a couple bays away, staring at us and talking, as if we wouldn't notice. Finally, one of them came up to us and asked us if we were waiting for something or if we needed anything before we left. I understand that there were probably people on the wait list who were up next to take our bay, but the staff member should have asked our bay host what was going on instead up trying to hurry us out without knowing what was going on. We explained the situation to her and she left without apologized or saying anything. After paying the bill, they didn't even wait for us to walk away before rushing in and frantically cleaning.

Over all, just a bad experience. Our bay host didn't seem to care and ignored us as we left and the way the rest of the staff near our bay acted just kind of made it feel like it was our fault that they were running behind. Not the kind of experience you...
