Buying stuff for my Jackal and decided to go Cabelas. First time since it opened. Being the Novice, I ventured around looking at the accessories they had for my Crossbow. They carry a decent amount of stock for my Jackal. They also carry a lot for others types. To be sure I understood and read everything right, I asked someone. No, I am not ashamed! Lol Evidently not many of the employees knew much about bows, much less the Crossy Type. I heard one name, more than once. After a few minutes, this nice looking, clean cut young man came round the corner, and here we go..He was a Great Help! He took the time to explain any uncertainty I may have had. After standing around a bit waiting on someone to help me, I found out I was supposed to sign up on line to get into the “help queue” which was not obvious. I did that and waited another 15 min. I saw my name on the monitor (I was the only one and there were a number of folks standing around waiting to be helped). An associate finished with a customer and then went right to some guy standing nearby completely disregarding the “help queue”. I left and complained to customer service and then left. The returns desk can be a little "Gestapoish"...even when you have the correct receipt, correct return period, and the item in original packaging. So far, I've had a good experience and now buy in store and online before I look at other store brands. Just make sure if you are returning something, have the receipt and sometimes the method of payment as one clerk will ask for it though he does not need it to process the return...like a little...
