Used to be a good little town to live in. But not so much anymore. I have spent most of my life here, and have seen the town fall basically. They have let illegal temples move into a place for residents. Loud pickup trucks come through all hours of the night with loud pipes. Stereo's blasting so loud it rattles the windows in your house , you also have tractor trailers coming through from the distribution warehouses applying engine brakes late at night There is no noise ordinance in the town, so people can be loud.Speeding vehicles, motorcycles speed down the road where there are parks with kids playing. Sky high electric bills, and apparently it is ok for your neighbors to stand outside and smoke pot then get in a vehicle and drive. Cops want do ANYTHING about it. We used to get in trouble for skateboarding on the sidewalks Now your can ride 4 wheelers, golfcarts, go karts or anything else around and it doesn't matter. I am getting out as soon a I can. Greatest little city ever! That’s why it is called a good life community. Crime is low, schools are excellent, housing is affordable. There are many events that are free for families such as monthly concerts at Legacy Park amphitheater, trick-or-treat on Main St., South dine and stroll during the holidays, the Christmas tree lighting and Santa Visit, the July 4 event at Legacy Park amphitheater which is spectacular it is rated the number five fireworks event in America. By NO FAULT of our own, a large limb came down damaging our irrigation system that we have never used and were told when the house was inspected was NON FUNCTIONAL. There was a leak from the damage and we received a bill for 747. Husband called and we were told once plumber came the sewage fee would be REMOVED. They learned it was our irrigation and CHANGED THEIR MIND and told us to PAY UP. We have never once missed a single payment and have paid EVERY BILL 2 weeks in ADVANCE, they then assured us NO LATE FEES WILL BE INCURRED. LIARS. THEY ARE LIARS.
