MOSS Designer Consignment — Local services in Alamo Heights

I came into this store after having the worst experience in Louis Vuitton at the new La cantera location. I found this store by chance on the internet. When we walked in I felt very welcome. Camilla was the best. She asked us if we ever been there before (which was no) and gave us a tour. My eye caught the all leather LV bag sitting on the shelf at the LV store this bag would have been $3200, but at MOSS it was $2200. Side bar: love the way they put the dates of when the price will be lowered. Anyway we came on a Saturday and I noticed the price was going to be lowered on that Thursday to $1760, but I was going to be out of town. I decided to wait, because my friend would come and pick it up for me and I just love a huge deal. The day came and I called the bag was still there (thank God) and Camilla sent me a PayPal invoice and I was able to pay for it with ease. Thank you Camilla for listening to my complaints about LV store at La cantera and for making my experience in your store the best, especially on my Birthday. You will definitely be seeing a lot of me....

I was referred to MOSS from a friend who is as into fashion as I am. I was surprised to learn it’s consignment, as everything is so nicely curated and in impeccable condition (even the vintage!). Their focus is on higher end labels, but the prices are SO much more reasonable than buying first hand. All of the styles and brands I want without the huge price tag that I sometimes regret. Camilla and the rest of her staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about the inventory, and never hesitate to text me the perfect new arrivals, so I never miss out on that one of a kind piece I wouldn’t have otherwise known they had. PLUS, because they do consignment, I get some return on the clothes, shoes, bags, etc that I’ve loved and that are still in good condition, but that I’m ready to swap out to change up my wardrobe. 10/10 would recommend shopping...

This store was just a little slice of luxury heaven! I went in to see the selection of the small store, and I was surprised to see an absolutely mind-blowing selection of designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. The clothing is organized by color, so that was helpful for me, a monochromatic dresser. The wide breadth of designer wear was so refreshing. MOSS had a vintage Chanel suit jacket right across the way from an Oscar de la Renta gown, some Louboutin heels next to some Prada power loafers, and Versace scarves next to Louis Vuitton wallets, with many other designers in between. I reached a little out of season for this rag & bone cardigan that felt like it was knit together with clouds! I was just so delighted to come here and I most definitely will be back!
