This place... Go here... If you are an avid pilot or aviation enthusiast, this place deserves your homage. Why? Only because it's the largest seabase in the world and is right there in anchorage. I have never seen so many pontoon aircraft in my life, nor have I seen pontoon aircraft taking off and landing so many times in a day/evening. A pretty amazing sight. What's even more spectacular is how the airport is planned out. You have this seabase that borders (joins) with Ted Stevens International and strategically positioned in such a way that it's magnificent. Kudos to the design planners! I hope other Yelpers, who have visited this place or walk along it's beautiful trails; which is along the lake's edge, with views of so many different types of aircraft, will consider posting about it.
