This is pertaining to the Starbucks as you enter the airport doors prior to going through security!!!! Someone needs to speak with the Manager and also train the little red headed girl that works there. She is sweet but I have seen her charge people the wrong price for drinks even though it says on the sign how much it costs (and no changes were made to the order) and just say, “well this is what we normally charge for it.” That is WRONG!! I stood up for a lady that pointed out the price and after hearing that I turned and walked away. I tried my luck a month later and ordered a tall mocha half caff…she said the decaf machine is “being weird” and then she charged me for a grande. I pointed it out and she didn’t know how to refund me so she called the Manager. The manager fixed the charge but didn’t seem to know what I meant by a “half caff” when I mentioned the machine “being weird?!” I asked to speak with her at the end of the bar and told her about the girl a month prior overcharging a drink when the price was posted. She made excuses for her and I had told her the girl was sweet but needed more training and def needed to know about posted pricing. I also told her that as a manager she should also understand a posted price and def know what a “half caff” is and perhaps needed more training herself. Never again will I go there! There is another coffee shop on the main floor towards baggage...
Read moreWalked up to the counter, not another single customer in sight. 2 staff, one who is texting on her phone, and the other slowly wiping the top of the coffee machine. She is humming, looks at me, goes back to humming and wiping. Eventually she asks me if I want something? I try to resist a sarcastic answer like "No, no, I'm just enjoying watching you clean". I order a large cappuccino and ask for an egg, bacon, cheese roll. There appears to be a choice of 4 different ones, but they only have one type available. It's only just turned 12 noon BTW. So I request the only one available. She rings it up and it's $13.15. I proffer the smallest note I have which is a $20. She says "I can't break that" Huh? Break it? That's hardly a break...I am just paying for food! She says her boss only gave her a few coins for the till. Clearly they want you to use a card. Well, I don't want to because I am from Australia, and using an international Visa or Amex comes with sizeable fees and charges. Stupid to use one, for a small purchase... especially when I am holding $US to pay for coffee! So, I left without anything. Cashier shrugged and went back to slowly wiping the same...
Read moreWorst experience getting my drink from Saria today. Only two people working mid day in the bustling ANC airport inside security. Coffee machine is OUT OF ORDER, so I opt for a refresher in my own neon green Starbucks tumbler. The drink took over 15 min to get and when she put it in front of me it was a MESS, sticky drink all over my tumbler as she poured more on my tumbler and not in it. A complete mess and a terrible presentation for Starbucks as I paid for a 20oz and it was only as full as a 16oz. I should have taken a photo. I would have excepted such pathetic presentation from McDonald’s but not Starbucks. I confronted her and stated there’s no excuse for such pathetic presentation from Starbucks as she had the nerve to state there’s a ton of excuses and she’s the only one making drinks as she said while looking at napkins and stated “I” could get napkins at the counter and clean it myself as if I made the mess and...
