Pic-N-Sav — Local services in Albany

I gave it a three because sometimes the meat is on sale. However it's not very often anymore. They're prices now compared to other stores but like the quality. But today I'm speaking of the fruit. I give it a one star of that. If zero was on the chart that would be my score. Don't buy it. Unless you want to throw your money away. I learned that lesson years ago not to buy it. But my car is in shop and my son said he was craving fruit. So it is the nearest store and so we purchased peaches, grapefruit,oranges, and apples. After eating one of each I am furious. Money was wasted The oranges were spoil and rotten, the grapefruit were rotten and molded. The peaches had worm's and the green apples were not crispy and had zero taste. I think all fruit had been recycled somehow. Just old old old fruit brushed up for suckers. I want my money back. Please don't buy...

Decent enough selection of groceries at this small town store. Conveniently located within fifteen minutes of my house (so is our local Walmart), so I've stopped in a few times to pick up a select few food items. The prices at Pic N Sav are, on a whole, favorable to other grocery stores in the surrounding area. The employees are friendly and the store is fairly clean overall. There were some items present on the shelves that were clearly heavily outdated or expired, but I suppose that's par for the course given the nature of the store. Overall, I may end up visiting again on occasion, but I'll be sticking to the Walmart right down the road for the majority of my grocery...

Fruit&Veggies are reasonable&can goods&frozen foods.Meats are the normal prices. The customer service is terrible,but I preface it by saying,generally the younger clerks give the worse service. One young lady checked me out, no greeting,which is fine but not only that she starts drinking a bottle of milk while checking me out, doesn't give me the total because if drinking said milk, is still drinking milk while I try to hand her my money.
