I am new to the area and thought this place was okay based off google... I WAS WRONG. I sat down for my full-set and asked for almond shaped nails and for them to be short (multiple times.) The lady then proceeded to basically yell at me "what shape did you want? That can't be done on your shape." after I told her short. I can't even explain the shape I got she called it "coffin", but It looked like slanted on one side, straight on the other and the sides were so sharp... I scratched myself. When I got home, I had to file them for almost 30 mins. After I was there for 2 HOURS! I'm normally a all gel polish girl, the way they were looking I decided to go with regular polish.. Multiple times, I said just regular she kept saying, "gel it's better, more expensive but better." My polish is so streaky to the point I could have just bought stick ons and they would look 10x better. This is more on me, but I'm a really bad nail biter and sometimes the tool gets too hot and burns, well I said "ow" and she went on to say, "I know how to do nails, it is going to hurt, I do this everyday." I am sorry, but if it's hurting or burning I am going to say something. My pointer finger is evidently "crooked" which is funny because I have been getting my nails done for the past 12 years and have never had a crooked nail or finger.
I also got a pedicure, I never got a menu and I had one person starting and then I got somebody else. The menu really made me mad, because maybe I wanted something else. The girl that did my toes though was very sweet and she did a great job, if you just want a pedicure this place will work, but anything else. FIMD SOMEWHERE ELSE.
When, I got up to pay it was $87.00 with tip, I'm sorry that's too expensive for nails that look like this. Never gave me a detailed receipt so I don't even know how much was what, but I do remember nails being $25, but was my pedicure $47? made no sense. I paid and got out of there as soon as possible. I really hope my tip went to the pedicure. I WILL NOT...
Read moreNot for me. Wait was long . I asked to her change gloves after she was done filing off another ladies pedicure. She was upset that I asked her to do so and she even had holes in both of her gloves . She changed one glove and was very upset with me. Before she started on my nails she said ok and here you wanna fight with me more. She then later was upset that I couldn't pick a color and when I did she didn't have that one for me available. She said everything else but the one. I said ok and chose another color and she was very rude in demeanor while doing my nails. She tried to pretend to say ok thank you so much but it didn't make up for what she said or how she treated me. I later apologized to her and said I'm sorry if I was rude even though I know I wasn't and then told her I recently had an infection on my foot and I Was Just more concerned about that not happening on my hands too. She just muffled a noise to me and continued to talk her other co workers. It was only 33 plus tip which I tipped 6 dollars for even when i probably should not. I should have just left. And not tipped. They were treating all the other women Much more respectfully than me. . Women if you are of color or not a regular there please do not do yourself a deisservice and go. Saw multiple review of women with this same problem and issue. I thought it was an off thing and someone was having a bad day it's not, it's how they treat...
Read moreI have been using this nail place with Amy as my technician for 10years. I’m a regular customer. Last week a nail fell off (not broken). This was the second time a nail fell off in a week. I called Amy for a repair. She said sorry I’m too busy. She refused to do it the next day with the same excuse. Finally I got her to agree to do it two days later even though I told her I had a party to go to. In the past I have waited while she fixed another clients nail. My sister, who has been a long time client as well, called her and she slammed the phone down on her. My sister spoke with Kim, the owner and she agreed to fix the nail. She did this while working on another client. When I arrived Amy was no where to be seen. She materialized about 15 minutes later. She had been waiting for clients pedicure to dry And to get paid. She walked right past me not even bothering to apologize. I asked Kim to take me on as a client since Amy thought a little too much of herself. Kim refused to take my sister and myself on as a client. Guess she’d rather lose two steady clients than cross a worker with an attitude. If this is how you want to be treated,...
