I’ve tried my fair share of boba shops, but this one easily stands out as a new favorite. The moment I walked in, the place felt bright, inviting, and well-kept. The menu had plenty of options without being overwhelming, and the staff were super friendly in helping me pick something out. They were patient, upbeat, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which immediately made the experience better.

Service was fast, and my drink came out beautifully prepared—sealed perfectly, with no sticky mess on the cup (which I weirdly appreciate). The tea itself was balanced just right, not overly sweet, and you could tell they used quality ingredients. The boba pearls were soft, chewy, and fresh, not the hard or mushy kind you sometimes get when shops cut corners.

What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. One of the employees actually came by to check how everything was, asked if the sweetness level was good, and offered to make adjustments if needed. That kind of attentiveness is rare, especially in a busy shop, but it made me feel like they truly cared about the customer’s experience.

The space was also spotless and comfortable, with plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy your drink. Even during a rush, they kept the line moving quickly while still taking time to greet everyone.

Overall, this shop nails both the product and the experience. It’s the kind of place you can tell puts effort into every detail—friendly staff, fresh drinks, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. After watching my friends play an intense soccer game, my sister recommended we go get boba. It was a pretty hot day and we decided to go to Starry Moon.

We've been to Starry Moon on numerous occasions and they have some of the best boba in the city of Albuquerque. With a variety of teas, flavors, and add-ons to your drink, it's truly inviting to all. Not to mention, that the staff and adorable atmosphere they've created makes you fall even more in love with this place.

After heading inside, I decided to try their new Matcha Shake. I'm a huge fan of green teas and I truly love the flavor profile of matcha. Usually, I get their Uji Matcha drink, but wanted to try their newest addition to the Matcha Series. The drink itself was quite good. Had that irresistible nutty, bitter, vibrant, and umami Matcha taste. And the aroma was very floral and fruity. The consistency itself was smooth and light, which made it delightful to drink. Furthermore, coupled with the soft, chewy, and slightly sweet boba, it completed the drink for me. There's nothing to critique with this place or this drink.

I've gone to this place 4 times & I won't be back again. The people behind the counter are usually friendly, but all 3 of my first visits they made my drink wrong. Like, they gave me a completely different drink than what i ordered on my receipt. The 1st & 2nd times they fixed the drink, the 3rd time I didn't even bother asking them to fix it because it's clear this is a constant issue. Today was my last straw, when I went in and asked for a drink off their "specialties" menu. The girl at the counter didn't know what I was talking about and didn't explain that they don't offer the drink, didn't ask the other workers for help, and didn't make any suggestions as to what I could try instead.
