I had an appointment for a new set simple French tip nails. I showed him a picture of what I wanted I explained that instead of a line of gold foil I would like a line of glitter on my nail. I requested for powder instead of gel because I know gel white turns yellowish after awhile. He said no that their white doesn’t turn yellow and it’s better. I trusted him. I asked for the price and he had quoted me a price before he started on my nails. 2 hours later he was still working on my nails and I was getting tired and wanted him to finish because he was rough with my fingers. He kept twisting them more then they would go and would pull my hand. He asked for the picture again because he forgot what I wanted. He started adding the white gel polish and after the clear he forgot the glitter even after he asked to see the picture again. At this point I had another appointment to attend too and it was taking longer than I anticipated. Once he was done I went to the front to pay. I asked that there was an error because he didn’t add the glitter/design. The front desk lady asked the other lady about the issue. That lady goes and tells the guy tech who was working on my nails to come talk to me. I told him what we had discussed before he did my nails he grabbed the receipt and just said what my price was. I tried to explain my self again because I felt like there was an misunderstanding and he kept raising his voice over mine and kept interrupting me instead of listening to me. My mother and I have been regulars here for over two years. I should say HAD been I suppose. We used to really enjoy it, and the work was always great…. Until about 6 months ago. The quality has dropped. Services are always rushed because my nail tech was doing too many things at once. They didn’t have their receptionist anymore, so she would answer the phone, stop to make appointments, stop to set up pedicures for walk ins etc. I understand things happen, but it got to the point where it was crazy. We were there for FOUR hours one day to both get a pedi, and basic short acrylic nails with gel polish. Once we left, I notice that the sides of my nails were super uneven and jagged, so I had to go back in the next day and have a couple of them fixed. We again chalked it up to them being busy, and went back a couple more times. I started having to file my own freshly new nails when I got home after every appointment. While trying to do too many things at once, the tech didn’t seem to care about how I asked for my nails. The last time we went was the straw that broke the camels back. As always we make appointments, but we come in and are told our nail techs are double booked. And if we still want them done we will have to wait since everyone is in the middle of something. Since that was the only time we could do it that weekend, we waited and they gave us two techs we never had before. Both services were again rushed, and uneven.
